It's been just over a year since all my SOL got drained.
I was exhausted, things weren't going well, I was barely sleeping. In a normal state I'd never have made a mistake like that. But it happens.
I'll quote my old post - maybe someone will read it and it'll save their funds.
Stay safe. I'm off to bed! 💚🫂
I’ve got drained on Solana and this is my story...
(TL;DR - maybe it’ll save someone’s deposit.)
Five months ago, I came to Solana to trade memecoins. I was full of energy, ideas, and determination. I wanted to automate the process, learn how to spot scammers, and find tokens that were actually worth something.
It took me about two months to build my own parser and trading bot. I tested it for two more months, fixed tons of bugs, and finally started adding features. It was almost non-profitable, but I didn’t give up. And finally, a month ago, my bot started printing money.
For the last five months, I slept 4-5 hours a night and spent every free minute on development - and there weren’t many, because I have a wife, a one-year-old toddler, and a cat. I quit the gym and gained 10 kilograms. My financial situation depended on my bot... my life savings weren’t as strong as they used to be. I tried very hard - and I succeeded.
In the past 20 days, I earned about 60 SOL. There were good days and bad days. I was starting to get my life back; I even planned to return to the gym. But this day split everything into “before” and “after.”
I always thought I’d never fall for a scam like this. I used to explain to newcomers how notto fall into scams. I checked everything carefully. But today I did something unimaginable. Maybe it was fatigue, haste, or my head being full of other thoughts. I clicked a link in the community and signed a transaction…
solscan.io/tx/2LFgAhYS1iGGGJ…
All my tokens and SOL were immediately transferred from my account to the scammer. When I realized what had happened, I just wanted to smash everything. But I pulled myself together. My wife supported me and helped me calm down.
I tried to distract myself - played some games on the computer and actually forgot about it for a couple of hours. Then I sat down to write this post… and reality hit again.
Now I need to gather my thoughts, talk with my wife about how to rearrange the budget - where to cut back and where to give me more time to bring the project back to life.
I’m in love with Latin America. The people, the atmosphere, the outlook on life - it all energizes me. I don’t want to leave. But now the possibility of staying is in question.
Just yesterday, my wife and I were dreaming about going on vacation in November so I could finally get away from work for a bit. Today, I’m thinking about how to get even a little SOL to restart the bot.
For the scammer, it’s just 80 SOL. For me, it’s a turning point in life. They don’t care that they can ruin someone’s life. We often read stories about people who couldn’t cope after financial losses. Luckily, I love my life here and my family. I’ll do everything I can to get back on my feet - and I’ll be glad to have you on that path.
If you read this - thank you. Please retweet. Maybe some newcomer will see it and won’t repeat my mistake.
My post is nota call for donations. But if anyone decides to support me financially, here’s my temporary address - I’d be grateful, but please don’t take it as a request.
💜 Yours,
Jorge Memewitz

Not bad, the CallOuts I randomly picked by hand from my buys today.
At least some ray of light.
By the way, today's in the green on GMGN so far. That's nice too...

I'm alive, I'm working, I'm sorting things out.
The market is extremely shit for me right now. They shut down CallOut autoposting, but that's fixable.
Hopefully I'll get everything sorted soon and be back on X.
Bro, the quality of calls at 15k is roughly 10–20% better than at 9k.
Right now the market and my bot are in such a shit state that if I were making CallOuts at 9k mcap, people would've stoned me by now.
Just look at how my bot's doing. Everything's really dead right now. Plus, I think spamming low-quality calls would make it even worse.
Right now I'm thinking about collecting stats on CallOut rewards and feeling out the exact threshold where calls start counting as spam. If 25–40 calls a day is acceptable, then maybe I'll go back to CallOuts at 9k mcap once the market settles down a bit.

What are you figuring out brr?? You making it worse and not helping anymore by shifting your calling period to more higher mc. Now seems you make calls at around 15k mc right? That’s bad and not helping anymore, compare to the previous methods of making calls. Check it out..
Whoa, Mum, I'm on TV 😅😂
Am I seeing this right? 👀
@zenoVision_ just relaunched on @solana, with @mbarrbosa finally taking full control of the token and marketing.
That’s the story I’m aping into 100%. 👀
The initial steps happened on @RobinhoodCrypto, but the main play is unfolding on Solana.

And will this be possible just by connecting my wallet to your site? Or do I have to import my wallet into your interface?
I think it's really bad to force your users to break their own security principles and import their private key into your platform. And a lot of your features are unavailable unless you've imported your wallet.
For example, I can't get a referral code tied to my own wallet. I don't get approved for the KOL and Smart Money labels, even though my wallet looks many times better than a lot of the ones that have those labels.
This is discrimination that requires users to compromise their personal security. And keeping money on a private key that's stored with you is insanity. Even the most secure projects get hacked.
But I feel like October is going to be my best month - I don't think anything can ruin that now. Even in a market this burnt out.
Hey. Oh bro..
1. First, learn the basics of programming and how to architect projects.
2. Learn to write good prompts, so the AI does exactly what's needed.
3. Dive into on-chain analysis and trading. Learn everything you can about trading memes on Solana, about on-chain data, how it all works and how it's all connected.
4. Write your own trading bot and a parser for it. Fix hundreds of vulnerabilities, keep improving it and squashing bugs. Keep it updated.
5. Find a strategy and test it with proper backtests, so you don't screw up in live trading. Keep optimising, fight scammers, adapt to the market.
Basically, nothing complicated. It took me 4 months to get my first results. And about a year to get to where I am now.
This is going to be a long one.
I listen to what people say and try to set things up so that I don't lose out, and others do well too. My earnings come first - and so does the moral side.
I'm adapting to the current CallOut rules. But I'm starting to see that they hit CallOut profitability hard. And the worst part is that I can't do anything about it, because I can't control how people trade. I raised the quality of my calls, and people actually started losing more money. That's absurd.
Over the last few days there were several solid CallOuts where people still managed to lose. They either exited too early, entered too late, or just didn't wait for the pump and sold on a small dip.
Now follower results affect payouts. And I don't get why I should be responsible for other people's decisions. If someone entered late or exited too early while the token was growing organically, why should I take the hit for their bad calls?
To be fair: good programs don't appear overnight, and PumpFun is aiming for a good goal. I'm honestly surprised by all the CallOut updates they keep shipping. I didn't expect them to sacrifice their own profit for this program. That's cool. But there are still plenty of things that need fixing.
1. A caller shouldn't be responsible for their followers' bad decisions.
Yes, it's hard to implement. Sometimes a pump is so fast there's no way to enter at the call price. And a one-candle dump should punish the caller if it turns out to be a rug. But if a follower entered at 30k mcap on a 15k call, had the chance to exit at 60k, held too long and sold at 10k for -66% - that's entirely on them.
2. The call price should reflect a real entry.
Here's something most people don't know: the CallOut isn't priced at the moment it's published, but a couple of seconds earlier. I checked this. My CallOut went out after a huge buy, and the stats recorded the price from before that buy. I think the call price should be tied to the price 5–10 seconds after publishing. No trader buys in 0 seconds - that's not a real entry. It would also filter out calls made on an instant pump that nobody can actually fill. Maybe there's a better way to deal with this, but the call price definitely shouldn't be set 3 seconds before publishing. At least 1–2 seconds after. Same goes for the ATH and the X multiple: if it was a single buy sold within one slot, that's not a real price. Yes, this will ruin everyone's pretty, unrealistic stats. So what?
3. More CallOut stats, and show the trader's style.
When someone lands on my profile and wants to follow, they should clearly see that most of my CallOuts play out over an hour, a day, or even a week. They should be ready to wait or set limit orders - not hope for a one-minute flip and lose money. In a market like this, it's especially obvious. Tokens have slowed down. My 1-day stats always look like shit, because garbage dumps fast and good tokens grow slowly. I've got a pile of solid tokens that migrated, but I bought them a couple of days ago.
And a couple of questions:
- If someone traded volume off my CallOut a week later and made a lot, does that count toward payouts?
- What exactly do the 1h, 4h and 1d stats mean? I'd like more detail.
I'd really like to hear Alon's comments on all this and get answers to these questions.
@a1lon9 @Pumpfun @PumpfunEco
Yes, what I'm saying is that it's dumb to enter tokens my bot is trading and expect a quick win.
Just look at the tokens I've made money on. Some I hold for hours, some for weeks. That happens. And if you saw a CallOut, liked the token, and it passed your research, then buying it and expecting a profit in 5 minutes is way too overconfident.
Replying to @itzmemewitz
You mean you do hold for a long time… but yes fair reminder! I like watching what you buy but always DYMOR too!
Friends, if you do decide to enter a token off my CallOut, be ready to hold like I do, instead of bailing on a temporary drawdown. Or because there's been no growth for a few hours or a day. I don't hold coins for a long time for no reason. Not everything pumps in 1 minute.
Based on the stats, the stop should be around -50 to -65%, and the take-profit after migration. Or 2.2x if you want more stability.
If you enter a token after my CallOut and exit 10 minutes later because of a 30% drawdown, you're better off not entering at all. I'm not saying you need to hold all the way to the bottom like I do. Just try running the numbers.
The market is complete shit. The number of positions has dropped a lot, and the quality of the ones that are left isn't great.
If you're following my CallOuts, right now you need to do your research three times over before buying.
Traders have slowed down, and some have probably left for somewhere else. Only the scammers stay loyal and stay put, damn them.
GN bros.
Anyway, I looked at Alon's new posts and decided to raise the mcap at which I publish CallOuts. Now it'll be around $14–15k. At that level there are even fewer rugs and the tokens are cleaner. Basically, the whole hit rate is built on tokens that migrate. The hit rate will range from 40 to 50%. It can drop to 35% on bad days, like right now.
This will lower the number of CallOuts and raise their quality. But it kills the good risk-reward for experienced traders. Oh well, what can you do. I don't like getting $0 because someone entered late with no research and lost. The game is different now. Better fewer calls, but ones where even the inexperienced and those who follow me blindly can win.

Congrats! That's just amazing. You made a great CallOut and got a great reward!
This gives me hope! I've had some nice runners too. Leaving the machine running! This change might even turn out better for me than before. Especially since Alon said today they'll make sure legendary low-cap calls that someone made money on don't go unnoticed.
But the market right now is unfortunately grim. Yesterday was the worst day I've had in a year, if you don't count the time I got drained of 80 SOL 😁

it seems you are right, a call i made at 5k was pretty profitable for tailers, there are some others too and im not sure if the high multi also contributed but I got a MASSIVE reward today for my following size
found the post through you answering about filtering so will add this too, it seems basically impossible to filter entirely, nowhere close to the point you can let it auto trade from the data i have so far, maybe with ai improvements but currently you gotta look at charts all day and notice patterns ig, im still not great at it lmao
Let's start with the fact that you're comparing yourself to a machine. I see the obvious things too, but not everything can be turned into code without also cutting out quality tokens. You also have to understand that you're seeing the chart after the fact, and it's easy to judge in hindsight. At the moment of entry, the decision is often borderline, and a bad token often shows the same patterns as good ones. There's no getting around that.
Of course I try to filter out obviously bad tokens. And I work on that every day. And the main thing: if you're trying to follow me and it's obvious to you which token is good and which is bad, then you're a solid trader and you can use my bot's hints successfully. Hope it's working for you.
Hugs.

Do you plan on improving your bot’s ability to pick coins ? Some of them are so sus and i question why is it picking those really bad ones that are obvious
