On 2 November, we recognise women workers in the informal economy. From home-based workers to market porters and street vendors, their work keeps our communities moving, yet many face insecure work, low wages and limited social protection.
Their work deserves recognition, their rights protection and their voices to be heard. Trade unions help women workers organise, build solidarity and demand decent work and social protection.
