Nice. But I'm noticing a shift.
I've made enough sales now to prove to myself I can make _some_ money selling my own thing. That was an important step as I haven't done that before.
Today I realised new sales no longer bring me the excitement it did a month ago. A month ago I was pooping my pants with excitement from every sale, now it's a matter-of-fact.
It's time for the next step - I need to prove to myself I can make _meaningful_ money with my own thing.
So I'm working on 2 projects with much higher ceiling than Windway. Excited to show you soon!

I’ve got 7/16 right (<50% lol) on a test trying to guess llm vs human written fugue.
I’m not a professional musician but for context I played piano since age of 5 and in particular played a few bach fugues. Im have ABRSM grade 8 piano (with distinction, important!!!)
I will say it’s not a perfect test given that you listen to out of context snippets, so you can’t really make judgement based on development, broader structure etc, that said it’s obviously impressive that LLMs reached this level and I recall a few of the llm written snippets were genuinely pleasant to listen to.
I have lots of thought about this which won’t fit in a tweet, maybe I’ll write smth. Thanks to @aug5thmusic for conducting this!

I've had this idea of a music project where it's just piano with growling vocals.
I can play piano but I can't growl.
So I'm building a growler who will sing next to me.
Sometimes I like to browse great preAI web creators and remind myself we are truly standing on the shoulders of giants.
After a few days of posting Windway is now getting 1.5k+ views on instagram too. Feels like Instagram just requires you to build up more trust with it first.
Also Windway got followed by the biggest tin whistle influencer! 😆 (yes that's a thing)
