To all the sycophantic Farage supporters screaming nothing happened with the Lib Dem MP Great - at last you are calling Farage out for being a liar. Quite easy - if nothing happened then the altercation he described and his reason for not attending the Budget are proven lies.

Happy Halloween! 🎃 The scariest thing in Britain isn’t ghosts it’s an unelected monarchy, inherited privilege and a royal family beyond the reach of voters. Time to put democracy before birthright. 👑 #AbolishTheMonarchy

Good morning. Happy Halloween. Donald Trump is the most corrupt president in our nation’s history. There’s no close second. Go vote.
BREAKING: Trump has made nearly 29,000 securities trades since returning to the White House, more than all members of Congress combined (22,200)—Bloomberg Drain. The. Swamp.

I didn't watch Celebrity Traitors, but I understand that it's finished. Did John Healey and Wes Streeting win? 🙁

Lady in stripes, "What about the troubles inside our own country?" "It was Nigel Farage who responded to misinformation about stabbings by saying that people should respond with cold hard rage" "There were race riots in 2024, I had black and brown friends who were scared to leave the house" "And there was a massive racial bias with Brexit pushing people to vote in certain ways" Fiona Bruce, "And when it comes to freedom of movement with the EU would you welcome that?" Lady in stripes, "I would welcome Freedom of Movement. I was only 16 when the vote happened" "Many adults I spoke to voted for Brexit and then regretted it because they voted on it based on lies" "There was also the Cambridge Analytica scandal" "I'm firmly of the belief that the Brexit vote was not democratic and that we should have another referendum" My view: She is right to challenge the idea that Britain’s problems begin at its borders. The rhetoric used by politicians at home has consequences too. When false claims about violence are amplified and people are urged to channel their anger, the damage does not stop when the headlines move on. The 2024 riots left many people frightened in their own communities, including people who felt targeted because of their race. Her argument about Brexit also deserves to be heard. A generation too young to vote has lived with the consequences, while many people who did vote later said they regretted it. The Cambridge Analytica scandal raised further questions about how personal data was used in the campaign. That alone does not prove the result was changed, but it deepened public concern about the way the debate was conducted. If the case for Brexit still stands, let the public judge it again—with the consequences visible and the facts in front of them.

Trump is the most dangerous president in our history. He's an authoritarian who does not believe in the rule of law. This election is not about Ds vs. Rs. It's about whether we maintain a rubber-stamp GOP Congress that aids and abets Trump — or finally hold him accountable.

I’m just watching Question Time and the lunatic @ZiaYusufUK got a big round of applause when he said we had to scrap the lunacy of Net zero. He continues to lie that it’s net zero policies that make our energy ao expensive, when in fact it’s because we’re tied to the wholesale price of gas. Unfortunately, the public are part of the problem. They’re too stupid to protect their own children from a terrifying future.

Most people outside of MAGA consider Katie Couric a thoughtful and fair journalist. Here’s her letter to President Trump that lists the reasons she opposes him. Please share - 1. Your rhetoric - whether it’s sexualizing supporters or demonizing opponents – is disgusting. For someone who ran on “draining the swamp,” you’ve created a horror show of insults and trash talking that feels more fitting for a fourth grader than the president. Your treatment of the press is despicable, especially how you address women. When you’re asked a question you don’t like, you resort to your tired mantra of “fake news.” Your banishing of credible journalists from the Pentagon and White House undermines the First Amendment. 2. Your immigration policy has gone way too far. ICE agents rounding up undocumented people, separating them from their families, tossing them in crowded prisons, and deporting some to places where they risk violence or death is inhuman. Few object to your desire to deport violent criminals or your efforts to secure the border. (Most people agree that Biden failed in the latter department.) But deporting people who have been here for years, have had children here, have built lives, and are doing work that’s critical to our economy makes no sense. ICE scaled up quickly with inadequate vetting and insufficient training.. 3. You are weaponizing the Justice Department in ways I didn’t think possible. Attorney General Todd Blanche is operating as your personal attorney rather than the chief law enforcement officer of the US and uses his position for your obsessive retribution campaign. From the hubbub over James Comey’s seashell-based Instagram post or this latest investigation (the third time the justice department has attempted to bring criminal charges against him) to pursuing Letitia James over mortgage-fraud allegations that career prosecutors found insufficient to support charges, the DOJ is a shell of its former self. 4. Next is your corruption that happens so fast it makes my head spin. Reuters estimates that your family has made at least $2.3 billion from cryptocurrency ventures on top of other business interests. There’s a word for this: cronyocracy - a government in which power, appointments, and opportunities (not to mention big bucks) are distributed to friends, loyalists, and political allies rather than on merit. But perhaps even more fitting is kleptocracy - a government whose leaders exploit political power to enrich themselves. 5. Let’s not forget about the war in Iran, which contradicts your campaign rhetoric that “I’m not going to start a war, I’m going to stop wars.” Despite warnings from military experts about what would happen, you bulldozed your way into a war with Iran that has cost the Pentagon an estimated $38 billion, according to a Congressional Budget Office report. Disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz - a risk you were warned about - have sent gas prices soaring. Negotiations are going nowhere fast and our country won’t be in a better position than it was before this war of choice. 6. Speaking of wars - what’s with the love affair with Putin? Russia invaded Ukraine yet you repeatedly shift blame onto Ukraine. Experts I speak with say you admire strongmen and want to be one yourself. Your treatment of Zelensky - berating him at the White House, having others suggest he should grovel more - is shameful. Your alienating so many of our NATO allies neuters NATO and you’ve sown distrust and cast doubt on our country’s commitment to Article 5: An armed attack on one member is considered an attack on all. 7. Can we talk tariffs? Why in the world would you want to pick a fight with our neighbors to the north? Your global tariffs have pushed prices higher and strained vital trading relationships. Your off-again, on-again policies have made it extremely tough for businesses to plan their futures and though manufacturing jobs have gained some ground, continued.....

NATO allies suspect that Trump is withholding Patriot missiles as a lever of pressure on Ukraine. This is not a suspicion, it's a fact that traitor Trump works for war criminal Putin. Blood of innocent Ukrainians on his hands, too.

Badenoch has forgotten that Thatcher sold off the family silver, Cameron ruined public services with austerity, Johnson ruined the economy for a generation with his Brexit deal. Then he pissed £billions up the wall with dodgy Covid loans and PPE contracts. Then we had Mad Lizzy!

Kemi Badenoch wants us talking about welfare costs. Fine. Let’s talk about ALL public spending. While families struggle with the cost of living and foreign aid is cut to fund defence, Charles & Camilla can jet off to the Caribbean for royal engagements and street parties. Why is welfare always up for scrutiny, but the monarchy isn’t?
