2026年の米国中間選挙で注目されているミシガン州上院選の候補者として報道されているアブドゥルとは2014年から１年間ボッシュ財団でのプロジェクトで一緒に活動したんだけど、キレッキレの頭脳で非常に弁の立つ人だった。日本から中国への飛行機で隣に座った時に、「大学の授業（当時はコロンビア大学で教えていた）で生徒の前に立つまでに40回位は徹底的に練習するんだ」という話（50回だったかもしれない）を聞いてこんなに頭のいい人でもリハーサルちゃんとするんだ！と心底感動したのを今も覚えている。私が今までの人生の中でも5本の指には入る頭と性格のよさで、ひやー世の中にはほんとすごい人がいるんだなぁと会うたびに思ったんだった。世界を変える力を持った彼の健闘を心から祈る。

Joint list senior leader Ahmad Tibi acknowledges that an Eisenkot-led government, which they plan to support, will not advance peace with the Palestinians. "Our first, second, and third priority is to bring down the Netanyahu government. We realize that we must make tough decisions," Tibi told Saudi Al-Hadath.
"That's why the primary issues on the agenda will be domestic issues. I say frankly, the coming government will not be a peace government; it will not be the answer to our dreams. We are choosing between the bad and the worse, but our goal is to remove this current government," Tibi said.
