Also a fairly important post-recording update: I was essentially made homeless 2 days ago by trans/homophobic neo-nazi landlord so this month will be a softer start with fewer elements than I promised. But fingers crossed December can get going with a bang!

I feel so genuinely, utterly devastated for people dealing with A-level results. I'm about to start my dream Masters and I can't stop thinking about how it was my A-levels (which ended up being *better* than my predicted) that got me to where I am today. I am so, so sorry.

And on the debates around how much grades matter: Sure, they aren't the be all and end all of opportunities, and people shouldn't completely lose heart. But they do make certain pathways (uni) much easier and help against an already skewed, non-meritocratic system.

Assessed Grades at A Level identify what the student is capable of & showed during the course. They're accurate. Every year some students may messup or excel on the day in the exam - but in 2020 they didn't get that chance. Keep the teacher assessed grades actionnetwork.org/petitions/…

Had a dream about a book that taught you how to save money but when you put it into water it turned into the Dark Version which taught you how to spend money in the right way and can we please get onto the science of this stat because a hidden book inside a book!!
