I'm tired of politicians and media trying to control the narrative.
We The People don't care about what you think we need to hear, or what you want us to hear.
We are adults and we need the truth!
We don't need well designed white lies, half truths or just blanten lies.
We live in a free Republic and we can see what is going on, at least the sane ones can.
Most of the garbage the media and politicians try to spin don't pass the eye test.

LOTGATE DAY 70: THE SB258 TOWN BUILT ON A SCAM
As is typical in Utah's corrupt machine the developers/donors profit, taxpayers pick up the tabs. Why have your property taxes been soaring? Because of scams similar to this that the legislature pushes on our communities every year to benefit their donors.
And it's all caught on tape as shown in this video last night at the SB258 hearing I attended. The sham feasibility study didn't even attempt to hide it when asked why he overruled Sheriff feedback on legitimate costs, and other items (costs that will be forced to be borne by local residents).
Additionally, they confirmed that all the road usage and/or damage thereof for the construction would be borne by county taxpayers except for the 0.5 mile leading in. Zero ways for elected officials to even lodge a complaint to attempt to protect their taxpayers. Absolutely disgusting.
Obviously, to any plain observer this is unconstitutional as it effectively misappropriates Government Powers and oversight to donors, while ordinary citizens pick up the tab, with no one even in local office to hold accountable. I'm hopeful the judge in Moab will make the right call after tomorrow's hearing, but this law has been on the books for years and our legislature has consistently blocked any oversight, and you can see the results: corruption caught on tape.

@GovCox shame on you for threating funding when local leaders dared to speak up to protect their citizens.
@mschultz_12 & @JStuartAdams, Kirk Cullimore, you now have documented evidence that taxpayers were not only ignored but effectively mocked by the author of the feasibility study that ignored all local input in its creation. The right thing to do is to a special session now and repeal this unconstitutional law. This disgusting display becomes corruption with your names on it every day that passes and this law is still on the books.

But it didn’t stop there...
The proposal calls for private outreach to the United Nations, foreign heads of state, the European Union, African Union and ASEAN so they would be prepared to recognize and support what the group described as a “legitimate, peaceful renewal process.”

Here's a bit of trivia info:
@DataRepublican and @DataInterpretr have worked together for years. When my daughter is required to present or be interviewed, they spend quite a bit of time preparing and going over notes together to make sure they get it exactly right.
Years ago, when Jennica went to work for Snapchat, they started providing interpreters for her at meetings and such. Just about every interpreter refused to return because the language that they were required to interpret was so technical and unfamiliar.
BUT, @DataInterpretr, hung in there. She found it fascinating and was willing to put in extra effort to learn the vocabulary. In fact, the two of them invented signs for some of the "tech" terms that have become mainstream in the deaf community today.
And the bonus is that they are great friends in real life. It's truly a God thing that they found each other. I couldn't be more proud of them both.

Update on my situation with my Wife over political views.
In an earlier post I said I was using Grok to filter posts on my timeline and this has been working for me.
I can discuss my thoughts and views with Grok and it gives me an outlet so I don't overwhelm my Wife with political conversation.
It clears away the clutter in my mind and my thoughts don't infect our conversations.
It's like having a therapist without having to actually having to pay for it or spend time I don't have going to an appointment.
This is my experience and I'm not advocating for Grok to be your therapist.
