I was lucky enough to get access to the @playdate developer preview, so of course I had to make a Flipnote player for the thing! The note shown here is one of @kekeflipnote's old works - you can use the crank to scrub through frame by frame!

One of the non-podcast projects I’ve been working on is sound design for this Flipnote app on the @playdate! Fun Fact: Most of the paper sounds didn’t use normal paper but the slightly heavier and tough paper of a parking ticket I got a while back

Most of the graphics are pure pixel art made in @aseprite, but some of the larger parts started out as vectors made in @sketch The font is a heavy modification of the Asheville font from the @playdate SDK, with a new Japanese character set and some extras for DS username support

I made a HSV color picker for JavaScript! Unlike other color pickers, it doesn't rely on any jQuery or extra CSS / images, and the interface is implemented entirely in SVG! It was recently featured on Codrops and JavaScript Weekly too :0 iro.js.org
