My wife and I have saved for 17 years in a 529 Account for our High School Junior. I’d sure like to have access to the 529 to spend on cars, trips, new IPhones that we have delayed or not bought to “do the right thing” and save. Heck, why use the 529 Account to pay for College when he can borrow and have it forgiven? I feel foolish for saving.
