More on the new trains which seem controversial. It seems from the press video that the livery has been updated and flows more!

Although new trains are good! This is a downgrade as these new 5-car trains are 121 meters long, compared to the 6-car 141.2 meter long 185s!

TransPennine Express is to receive in 2034 29 five-car battery electric Adessia Stream trains built by Alstom in Derby, DfT said tonight. Rock Rail will own the £1bn fleet which features level boarding and 3 wheelchair spaces, leasing it to TPE. Production starts in 2028.

Just started playing with the new Airedale and Wharfdale line on @trainsimworld It’s great all be Leeds platforms are too narrow and not quite skewed right. Not to mention the roof heights feel too low compared to IRL.
