Hi @datspr can you explain how you pocket so much cash from @ManchesterPride who spent £153,690 in 2020 on marketing and PR yet only distributed £122k in grants to community organisations of their £4m income? @MCRPrideProtest @ITV @PaulBrandITV

Replying to @ShaunLintern
@ShaunLintern did you know that across England right now, newly qualified doctors are being paid only £52.66/day (£6.58/hour)?
That's less than minimum wage.
Trusts and @NHSEmployers say that is the hourly rate for an FY1, despite the fact that on FY1 payslips it's £13.81.

This needs money invested in housing, safe green spaces, tackling food industry, education, family therapy, culturally appropriate evidence based treatment programmes. 1/

Today’s attempt to smear NHS “fat cat” doctors - while ignoring those private Test & Trace consultants earning £7000 a day - really is peak Daily Mail.

If your lead employer was changed from Pennine Acute to StHK in Oct 18 then you should have had an email this week asking you to choose whether to move to the new national relocation expenses policy. Contact [email protected] if you haven't received this or for advice deciding.

🚨JUNIOR DOCTORS: a few points on Redeployment🚨:
- Firstly, it should be voluntary. You should not be forced to move.
- All other options should have been exhausted (eg: use of returners, utilisation of other staff within your Trust)

This is the problem that arises with the failure to set thresholds for local lockdowns.
We need an urgent re-think of local lockdown policy to re-establish a sense of trust and fairness.
