My iPhone Duo didn't make it two weeks. Closed, the halves had a millimetre of wiggle and a squeaky hinge to go with it. Turns out 'Duo' means two halves doing their own thing. Apple offered a refund. Not a chance, just swap it. I love this thing, it's magical.

I've been trying to get a straight answer from @RevolutApp about how they handle customers' ID documents. Three replies so far. All of them read like templates answering questions I never asked. @NStoronsky @matt_baxby (thread)
@NStoronsky recently told David Senra (@FoundersPodcast) that around 90% of Revolut's customer support is now automated. Judging by the replies I've had, I believe it. Nobody seems to be reading what customers actually write.
And @Revolut says its mission is "to make financial services fair and accessible for all". My experience: automated replies, no answers, and my ID documents sitting in a support chat. I don't believe my data is in safe hands. I wouldn't risk yours. Now with AFCA, OAIC next.
Their reply to my privacy complaint was a template about a different data breach, thanking me for "checking in". It also confirmed my data was caught up in that breach.
