I’d like to see @Apple and @johnternus bring the iPod classic back!
A key part of the Nick Esasky trade that began my 35-year boycott of the @Reds (ended by the Reds hiring of Terry Francona).
I’ll always remember Marty’s call: “Benzinger backing and calling… and the 1990 world championship belongs to the Cincinnati Reds!”
RIP Todd Benzinger
The Cincinnati Reds are saddened by the passing of former first baseman and 1990 World Series champion Todd Benzinger.
Todd will be remembered with great affection and gratitude for his place in one of the most memorable chapters in Reds history. Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, former teammates and all who knew and loved him.

David Ortiz tips back a giant bottle of champagne in the Fenway Park clubhouse — the night the Boston Red Sox finished off the St. Louis Cardinals to win the 2013 World Series, October 30, 2013.
Big Papi owned that Series: a .688 batting average, two home runs, and so little interest from St. Louis pitchers by the end that they walked him four times in the clincher alone. Boston won Game 6, 6-1, capturing a title at Fenway for the first time in 95 years — six months after Ortiz told a grieving city, "This is our city," and then went out and played like it. He was the runaway Series MVP, and it wasn't close.
