Made a connection last night while listening to a podcast with David Epstein trying to make sense why my class had modest growth in math MAP test scores. Teaching students to transfer information to new situations requires....
successful in their future schooling, test scores and in applying that learning to a new situations. If we value MAP scores, will it encourage teachers to teach the quick tricks to have the immediate gain of the improved MAP scores vs. the delayed....
