She actually warned her 😂 and truly I was not stressed.
I had also of mint in my pocket and still went back home with some 😂

People who make their own hair, how do you do it?
Because even something as simple as combing my hair and applying hair cream after washing it is a whole task for me. 😂

A date should feel like getting to know someone, not attending a briefing on their enemies.

If every person in someone's life is allegedly jealous, wicked or out to get them, it's worth paying attention.
Self-awareness matters. Nobody is perfect, and emotional maturity includes recognising your own mistakes instead of always playing the victim.
THE DATE WAS LOVELY UNTIL EVERY CONVERSATION BECAME A LIST OF THEIR ENEMIES.
Fine person. Good perfume. Conversation started well.
Then the stories began.
Their boss is threatened by them. Their ex was ungrateful. Their friends are jealous. Even the neighbour has an agenda.
Before the main course arrived, you had received a full security briefing. 😂
You came to meet a potential partner. Now you are wondering which department you will offend first.
Yes, people experience betrayal, difficult workplaces and unfair treatment. Talking about those experiences does not make someone the problem.
But listen to how they tell the story.
Can they acknowledge a misunderstanding? Admit a poor decision? Say, “I could have handled that better”?
Or does every story end with everybody else being wicked and them being completely innocent?
You do not need to diagnose anybody over grilled fish. Ask a simple question:
“Looking back, is there anything you would do differently?”
Notice whether they reflect or become offended that you even asked.
How someone discusses past conflict can give you something useful to explore. Over time, watch how they handle disagreement with you too.
And check yourself. A date should have room for your interests, humour and curiosity, alongside your experiences.
Be honest. Have you ever left a date knowing all their enemies but very little about them?

Don't envy anyone.
Envy will never elevate you or make you rise.
The life you're complaining about today is the same life someone else is praying earnestly to have.
Never become so distracted by another person's achievements that you forget to appreciate what God has done in your own life.
If you cannot be grateful for your blessings because you're too busy coveting someone else's, you're only robbing yourself of the joy that gratitude brings.
Focus on your journey, appreciate your blessings, and trust God's timing.
Your own season will come.

EVERYBODY WILL NOT CLAP. PLEASE CONTINUE THE PRESENTATION.
You posted your business. Three people liked it. Your close friend viewed it and moved on.
Now you want to abandon entrepreneurship and post, “People will show you who they are.”
Ah ah. We launched on Monday. By Wednesday, we are fighting the public? 😂
Of course, support from your people matters. It can hurt when the people you expected to show up barely acknowledge your effort.
But before you conclude that everybody is jealous, remember: people have their own worries. Some do not need what you sell. Some simply missed it.
And yes, some will not support you.
What happens next? Do they now control whether you continue?
Sometimes, we want applause so badly that we start treating silence as evidence that our work has no value.
Ask better questions. Is the offer clear? Are you reaching the right people? What feedback can help you improve?
If nobody is buying, investigate. Adjust. Give people a reason to care.
You can feel disappointed and still send the proposal, practise your skill or follow up with a customer.
Your friends are not your entire market.
Everybody will not clap. Please continue the presentation.
Be honest. Have you ever lost motivation because one particular person said nothing?

AFTER “YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL,” CAN YOU HOLD A CONVERSATION?
The compliment landed. They smiled and said thank you. Now there is silence, and both of you are suddenly very interested in the menu.
You do not need another compliment immediately. Let the conversation move naturally.
“How has your day been? You mentioned you had a presentation.”
If they say it was stressful, stay with that.
“What happened? Did it go as you expected?”
Listen, then share something of your own. You are getting to know each other, not collecting answers.
You can also acknowledge your interest without making a speech.
“It is good to finally spend time with you. Our calls have been enjoyable.”
That is warm, clear and enough. No need to announce that you have never felt this way before. The waiter has not even brought water.
Sometimes, the pressure to impress makes us forget to connect. We rehearse the next clever thing instead of listening to what the person has just said.
Ask about something you genuinely want to know. Follow the conversation. Allow a little silence without treating it as an emergency.
A compliment tells someone you noticed their appearance. Your attention shows that you want to know them.
What makes you want a second conversation with someone?

Don't marry a woman simply because you met her in church.
Marry her because her character, values, principles, and actions demonstrate that she is the right woman for you.
