Outrageously disrespectful to Qatar that the BBC didn’t broadcast the World Cup opening ceremony, and instead put out more virtue-signalling guff about how awful it is. If they’re that appalled, they should bring home their vast army of employees & spare us this absurd hypocrisy.

“The killing of George Floyd happened 4,000 miles away and yet it dominated the news in the UK for two weeks. In contrast, the killing of three men by a terrorist in Reading is already fading from the news headlines. This feels really disturbing.”

The Reading stabbing murders will now be quickly forgotten by everyone except the victims' family and friends. There will be no non-stop media coverage, impassioned newspaper columns, no protests, no debate over the 'climate' in the country.

I’m confused. Yesterday’s and last weekend’s violent protests were both disgusting.
But, according to the BBC, yesterday’s “violent London protests” resulted in 6 police officers being injured, while last weekend’s “largely peaceful protests” left 27 police officers injured. 🤷🏻♀️

The Government can only do so much.
There are over 66 million people in the UK. We all need to look at the guidelines and work out what is best for our family.
People I speak to seem to understand that. The next phase can't work without personal responsibility and common sense.
