Media Composer 2024.10 has a reworked Avid Titler+. At first glance, and after a brief test drive, this finally seems like it is a huge improvement. Thank you, @MediaComposer for all the work in making this happen. #editing #Avid

Hope it’ll be the editors and Media Composer team who can celebrate and not just STG. Fingers crossed. I’m going to take the very existence of this tweet as a small good sign.

Yet another ACE Internship Program success story! I remember the week you spent in our cutting room as an intern. You were as impressive then as you are now. Congrats on the new series! @LauraZempel

This sounds great. Editors unfamiliar with the other NLEs might not realize how nice a change like this could end up being. Avid could get a lot of enhanced functionality and have a richer 3rd party community. I'm all for it. Thank you, Avid. #avidmediacomposer

Not only is this just a wonderful film, I feel like every motion picture editor should watch it too. While they remain two distinct endeavors, there are so many fascinating areas of overlap between the work of a literary editor and that of film/tv editors. sonyclassics.com/film/turnev…

Caroline Shaw (@caroshawmusic) had a very challenging task in scoring this series and she did an absolutely beautiful job. Using her music in the edit was a huge part of finding the tone. I can’t imagine the series without her essential contribution. music.apple.com/us/album/fle…

Just as God intended. Nicely done, Avid. Thank you for working hard to make it happen.
