After six combat deployments, there isn’t a lot that scares Cait Conley. But Pete Hegseth’s leadership at the Pentagon? That keeps her up at night.
When the person running the Defense Department is purging experienced leaders, gutting military readiness, and playing culture wars while American lives are at stake, that should worry all of us.
That's why Conley is running in NY-17 because somebody need to hold Hegseth accountable.

Cait Conley is 100% right: Pete Hegseth has made the Pentagon worse by every measure that matters. Troops can’t get medical care in the field, experienced leaders have been fired for loyalty tests, and a forever war is being fought with no strategy and no end in sight.
As an Army Veteran, Cait knows what competent leadership looks like, and she knows people get hurt when it’s missing. NY-17 can elect someone who will hold Hegseth’s feet to the fire. Let’s make the right call and send Conley to Congress.
