Some of the magic of @youarestars this evening in NYC.
Super happy to continue my slow return to pop music gigs with the 20th anniversary show of @bssmusic "You Forgot It In People" this evening with Amy Milan from @youarestars on vocals. Thanks @asterix77 for reaching above all the tall people to snap the pic.

Plotting the data in a slightly different way (# of tests against # of positive tests) it becomes evident that we are now at the same level of positive tests we were a few weeks ago when we had a *much higher number of tests overall*. This is not a good trend! #nyc #covid19

This past Monday's data was just posted and even with the decline in testing over the past few weeks, both the positivity rate and the number of positive tests are clearly going up. Definitely seems like a good time to #maskup #nyc, if you aren't already. #COVID19 26/n

Looks like testing rebounded a bit last week at least. The current inconsistency in testing data makes assessing the positive test and positivity rate data challenging, so I switched the position of the bottom two subplots to make it easier to observe trends #nyc #covid19 25/n

No backfill on the data (yet), so it looks like there likely was a substantial drop off in testing last week (perhaps due to the public schools' spring break?). It'll be interesting to see if testing numbers bounce back this week or if this is the new normal. #nyc #COVID19 24/n

Not sure if this is a true drop off in testing or just a lack of reporting for recent days, but if it's the former then it's quite stunning. Positivity rate continues to climb and will likely climb more with the return from spring break. #nyc #maskup #COVID19 #CovidIsNotOver 23/n

Positivity numbers continue to rise. Thankful that the @MTA #maskmandate is still in effect. #maskup #COVID19 #CovidIsNotOver 22/n

It looks like the rate of increase for the positive tests and positivity rate *may* be stabilizing, although there is not quite enough data to know for sure and #nyc spring break travel may, unfortunately, negatively impact this in the coming weeks. #COVID19 #CovidIsNotOver 21/n
