Last month my GitHub account was suspended.
No warning, no real explanation, no appeal that mattered. Just gone. Years of commits, contributions, proof of work, all of it. I realised in that moment that every developer rents their reputation from a platform that can delete it overnight.
That is why I built Rivet.
Rivet backs up your entire GitHub history to IPFS and anchors a cryptographic proof of it on CKB. If your account gets suspended, hacked, or you simply lose access, you can restore everything to a new account with original timestamps and authorship intact. Your code and your record of writing it no longer live on someone else's server.
The testnet is live. It handles GitHub OAuth, full mirror backups, Merkle root anchoring on CKB, IPFS pinning, 1 click restore, auto sync, and a public verify page. The stack is CCC for wallet auth, CoTA for frictionless onboarding so you never have to buy CKB to start, RGB++ Spore DOB for your Sovereign Passport, and a CLI for developers who live in the terminal.
I've just shared the next phase of Rivet on Nervos Talk. It covers CoTA onboarding, the Sovereign Passport, and the production release of the CLI.

Last Saturday, we teamed up with @NervosCatalyst And @Abia_Web3Net to bring CKB Off Chain to Aba for the very first time.
The rain came down heavy, but the builders came through anyway. The room was alive with curiosity, good conversations, and a genuine hunger to learn and build.
We , heard from CKB developers sharing real projects, and watched new connections form right in front of us.
This is what it looks like when a community comes together. Not just to talk, but to build something real.
Aba is now part of the global CKB story. And we are just getting started.

CKB Off-Chain is coming to Vietnam! 🇻🇳
In collaboration with @bps_club, we will be hosting a builder-focused event involving CKBuilders, local blockchain developers and students for an evening of education, exploration and networking!

Scammers found a way to make people drain their own wallets without sending them a phishing link.
They uploaded YouTube tutorials showing people how to build an AI crypto trading bot with Claude.
People followed the tutorial themselves.
Copied the code.
Deployed the smart contract themselves.
Funded it from their own wallets.
And approved every transaction themselves.
Except the “trading bot” had no trading logic.
It was built to send their ETH straight to the scammers.
224 wallets lost 274.6 ETH, worth about $517,000 when it was stolen.
The median victim lost 1 ETH.
Some victims even got an error after getting drained telling them to deposit another 50% to fix the bot.
They literally got people to build, fund and approve their own wallet drainer.
