My first thought when reading the headline about the deal with France was "why is it a detention centre and not simply an asylum processing centre?" British Red Cross is spot on.

LHR -> BRU. Business travel occasionally happening again, it seems. Strange to be doing it again. I did not miss the early mornings...
So thought I'd been unlucky to get covid over new year. Then I went on a ski trip with 9 other guys last week. 8 of them currently are isolating with covid. I'm not. Perhaps my new year very mild infection was in fact good luck!
LHR->GVA... May as well get some more skiing in while there's snow and a window in covid restrictions...!
