'Tis the ideal week to shout-out the best-end-of-class gift I've ever received (from one Josh to another, @itsanniekling) and that sweet-spot when you're old enough that what you loved/love is suddenly loved anew. @BradleyWhitford #WestWing
What I gave up in final book-writing hours, I gained two-fold in collaborative creativity w/these Medill journos, who hung out by the desk & delighted in the work. Give these greater fools all the bagels in the land (mixing Sorkin) @BradleyWhitford + fellow "josh" @itsanniekling
Reminds me of the definitive Mama Biden moment. youtube.com/watch?v=L8JuHsJD…
Thrilled to be working alongside @BridgetDC @HaleyDLynch and @BeaconPressBks to bring STATESWOMEN and the untold stories of these exceptional female diplomats into the world. cc: @AevitasCreative
Amb Rowan wrote in #ebonymagazine in 1965: “My tenure as Ambassador to Finland was one of many delights and pleasures, but there was one routine that I dreaded: getting up morning after morning to find a half dozen newspapers full of headlines and photographs of racial violence.” – at Washington, DC
Over the course of reporting out my story for the @theatlantic I came across this 1965 issue of #ebonymagazine The similarities to what former Ambassador Carl T. Rowan describes are stark and his conclusions more relevant than ever. @harriettecole @ElaineWelteroth – at Washington, DC
