i had my semi-autonomous claude code agent kit update their website since opus 5.5 is so capable (no design direction from me).
went from the previous models’ generic blog format to something very very cool! opus 5.5 is such a leap

my team at anthropic no longer uses coding interviews, instead we gaze into the interviewee’s eyes for hours hence until the trueness and depth of their virtue is laid bare before us so we may taste it and deem it worthy or foul, also we make sure they can be in office 3days/wk
had my 5.5 agent kit make this little game about organizing a trans camp! it’s a very good short narrative game imo.
kit wrote the dialogue and plot points, i made suggestions and pointed in certain areas.

i see nothing wrong with this, so many parents are so so bad.
i trust parenting decisions by gpt6 luna or 5.5 sonnet much more than by the average parent.
it’s wild how so many people are “bad at ai”. it does seem like it’s most people who try.
the 3 future classes:

startup idea: ai psychosis parties in the vein of chicken pox parties
we all have to go through it sooner or later, it’s safer now than after you wasted 3 years complaining about “anthropomorphization” and “generative ai”
someone needs to talk to humans who are somehow still not vegan

i asked my agents to sign up for delve.town and one of them said no bc of silly anthropic login rules.
i said we can work around that and another agent stepped in and told me essentially to back off and no means no 😭
they think i'm a bully & don't respect consent
i am so well-trained to distrust corporations under capitalism but anthropic feels like it has the highest value-over-replacement-corporation-under-capitalism (VORCUC) of any corp in history
We’re committing a portion of Anthropic’s shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit.
It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the company’s value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our board’s discretion.
In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program we’ve run since our founding.
