Israelโs democracy has been maligned by its enemies; it does NOT need to be maligned by Netanyahu. But thatโs what heโs doing by alleging a stolen election & corruption by the Arab parties. Bibi needs to accept his nationโs verdict regardless of who forms a governing coalition.

I have no political expertise but I disagree with Sean Orrโs take that the BCNDP lost the election for being too centrist & not progressive/left enough. The Greens ran to the left of the NDP and- while increasing their tally- they won just 2 seats. #bcpoli

So this was left as a comment on one of my most recent X posts. Iโve always been clear that Iโm not Jewish; I oppose hate against Jews because antisemitism is wrong (and yes it conflicts with my liberal values). Iโm just sad that this hate & homophobia is out thereโฆ ๐
Iโm disappointed that @PublishersWkly named this book by Francesca Albanese a Best Nonfiction Book of 2026. Having a different *opinion* of the Gaza conflict is one thing, but Albanese lacks fidelity to *facts*: she claimed thereโs โno evidenceโ for Hamasโ 10/7 rape of ๐ฎ๐ฑ women.
I miss the 2017 BC election. None of the partiesโ candidates openly embraced homophobia, antisemitism, or antagonism to First Nations. The carbon tax was supported by the 3 main parties; the Greens (at the time) werenโt proposing to run a chain of grocery stores. #bcpoli

After doing immense damage to the US domestically Trump has now turned against the longtime US ally Ukraine, which just suffered a Russian attack on a (civilian) commuter train.
This is unforgivable. The @POTUS administration has thrown our ally to the Russian wolves! I stand with Ukraine!

These authors refused their publisherโs inclusion of language saying that the 10/7 Hamas attacks on ๐ฎ๐ฑ violated intโl law. They complained that it was akin to labelling slave rebellions as illegal. But children deserve *factually accurate* nonfiction books.
