Time Means Nothing
Time means nothing
to a broken heart.
In the wreckage
where your laughter used to live,
even the clock goes quiet—
its hands spinning without meaning,
like something trying to escape
but going nowhere.
Days blur.
Months pass.
But none of it moves me forward.
It’s all just noise
against the same sharp weight
lodged in my chest.
Time can’t close this.
It can’t teach my body
how to forget you.
It can’t loosen
what your absence tightened.
The world keeps moving—
people heal,
people change,
people let go.
And I’m still here…
stuck in the moment you left,
watching it replay
like it never ended.
The sun rises—
I feel nothing.
The night falls—
I feel too much.
Some wounds don’t fade.
They settle in.
They learn how to breathe inside you—
quiet, patient,
whispering your name
when everything else is silent.
So let time pass.
Let the calendar pretend
this gets easier.
Because time means nothing
to a heart
that hasn’t stopped
waiting.

Héctor Lavoe - Todo Tiene Su Final🎵
Todo tiene su final
Nada dura para siempre
Tenemos que recordar
Que no existe eternidad
Como el lindo clavel
Solo quiso florecer
Y enseñarnos su belleza
Y marchito perecer

Fun fact: this one almost didn’t make the album. RCA told Bowie Ziggy had no single so he wrote “Starman” last minute and swapped out a Chuck Berry cover. Then that Top of the Pops performance (where he pointed at the camera) turned him into a star overnight.

💀 🇲🇽 2026 Mexico City Mega Procession of Catrinas
Every year, Mexico City hosts a giant cultural parade as part of the Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebrations.
Moved my portable setup back to my office/studio because I worked over the weekend I have time to actually spend time in here and just work on sampling and messing w my setup some more. 🙏🏼
Big K.R.I.T. cooked this beat himself by flipping Al Green’s 1976 soul cut “Something.” It’s off his 2010 mixtape K.R.I.T. Wuz Here and turns that classic into a raw Southern confessional about the music and the struggle that won’t let go.
