I have something to get off my chest: All the tweets about a person w/cerebral palsy that got top surgery and how horrible that is, etc. Many don’t realize lots of ppl with that issue aren’t intellectually disabled. They just can’t communicate the same way due to neuro issues. One of my favorite comedians, Josh Blue, has that issue & my favorite guy from our @HomeDepot (who is the smartest & most helpful employee there, and they have a good team). So I’m aggravated that this many able-bodied 💻📱warriors all of a sudden care about protecting ppl w/disabilites while simultaneously using the term “retard” to hurl insults at ppl 24/7. If the “left” has made it a priority to include ppl w/different needs into their pack, then don’t get mad when they take on identities welcomed by that demographic. That guy is so loved and you can tell he’s passionate about his lifestyle. How can you get mad about that? How about you start including and cherishing differently-abled ppl and maybe you’ll then have somewhere to stand when you talk.

To the people who think Mel Gibson & the other guy are going to "fix woke Hollywood" (whatever tf that means) did it ever occur to you that Hollywood is no different than it was & you're just hung up on nostalgia? I was alive in the 80s & early 90s most films sucked then too

There was a time the US govt, lawyers, & academics convinced docs that forced sterilization was best practice. This issue is the same - it’s basically govt & docs going against a pts individual needs, for the good of “public health”. linkedin.com/pulse/i-am-bein…

I really hate Kris Kobach, he's the reason why porn and weed are banned in KS, the KC Metro part of KS (KCK) wants weed legal here to but Kris Kobach said no when we can just go 15 min to the MO side and get it, what an asshole

The so-called "herbs" that witches used were drugs, in the same way that "meds" are drugs. If academics made that connection, the study of witchcraft would shed a lot of light on the fearmongering of modern prohibitionists.

Just in case you don't believe me that pain pts are treated like subhuman...Message from Pain Pt.: "I’m so over all these doctors!! I have had not one, not two but three appointments with my pain “ specialist “ didn’t bother showing up and he is the only one that can deal with my pain pump. He literally let me run so low that I had an alarm going off inside me all weekend!! Last week we discussed taking the pump out and today he tells me he is sending all pump patients to a new doctor bc he just don’t have the time for the little pump patients he has. … obviously!!!"

I see one of the injury prevention centers is happy about their predictive model being accurate, and that it doesn’t include pain pts rxed opioids, and they admit since the early 2000s, it wasn’t rxs that were causing the ODs, so we find ourselves in a “Columbus discovered America and its in the history books” situation. Some lives are worth saving. Some aren’t, apparently❓Safestates lobbies lawmakers to enact policies that will prevent deaths, and so the injury prevention centers and have a duty to lobby for an increase in access to prescribers of rx pain meds & protection from the prosecutors that are being paid by law-firms to keep their boots on the necks of docs that treat some of the most disabled ppl in America. Show me where ppl w/intractable pain are seen as worth allocating resources to. There’s been no emphasis on exposing the false dichotomy trade-off that’s now culturally accepted. Fuck injury prevention. It’s a $ making industry in and of itself, just the same as bigpharma.

Yes this is exactly what it is, while I agree in principle violence is bad, I can't say I don't understand why he did it, CPP's are in a bad way, I personally could be having kidney problems due to NSAID'S, acetaminophen, & muscle relaxers all because I can't have opioids
Since the early 2000s, a group of self-interested antisocial clinicians has led a vile ad hominem campaign against patients with #ChronicPain. Patients are denied medication, then forced to have invasive procedures that often don’t work. Never in the history of medicine has a patient group been treated so poorly. The dignity and respect due any human being has denied to patients with #ChronicPain. We don’t know the facts of the Mangione case. And violence is never a viable option. However, we need to re-examine how American medicine treats the chronically ill, especially those with chronic pain.

That's a nice idea, but there's examples throughout history where pacifism just doesn't work. There's a time for diplomacy and time for action. We've been screaming at the top of our lungs and no one listens or cares. Now, people are talking about it. #LuigiMangione
As my wise Aunt Donna used to say, it’s better to fight for a cause than to die for one. #LuigiMangione is quite possibly going to spend the next 30 years in prison. That won’t help anybody, especially patients who’ve been victimized by Big Insurance. Violence is never the answer.

Any drugs that inspire and elate have obvious potential uses for combating depression.
