The fact that so many people doubted North painted that landscape and tore her down for it only proves why her deer painting is so deeply symbolic. She painted the deer to represent herself, constantly being shot at by the public… and I love that they talked about the painting…

“This is a melanistic fawn. And I drew it because it’s lowkey like my symbol I guess for my stage and stuff. And it just shows pure cause like a deer is one of the purest animals and it keeps getting shot at so it resembles me”
IF YALL DONT LEAVE NORTH ALONE!! 🥺

Tom can’t even get rightfully lashed without y’all turning it around and making it about Z. Like yes the white man didn’t defend his black costar receiving racism and even allowed it on his IG post. But instead of holding his feet to the fire let’s divert the conversation to his wife that had no involvement with that play 😵💫

Lynch Dune doesn't capture any of the themes of the book. Paul literally makes rain happen on Arrakis. Which means all the sandworm that create the spice die and in result the whole universe aswell.

DL's Dune captures the majesty and scope of the book and the deeper themes of myth, prescience and fate. DV's Dune is just drab and boring honestly, stale and forgettable in the way all modern movies are.

Calling a theatrical re-release an MCU gimmick is hilarious when studios have been re-screening original movies before sequels since Star Wars in the 70s. Dune is literally built for IMAX let’s not act like idiots. Avatar, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings all did this.

Based on early ticket presales, the release of ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’ and ‘DUNE: PART THREE’ is shaping up to become the biggest moviegoing weekend in film history.
What a loser, pretending they know shit just because they edited yellow onto everything lmao this is such a silly thing to be bothered about. There’s no right or wrong to aesthetic and color calibration... it’s the cinematographer’s decision and it’s that way for a reason. Now think about that. You are so close minded for someone who claims to love movies.
