My daughter: Why do you love me?
Me: Because God told me too.
That was not the answer my precious #enneagram3 wanted.

My friend @Rebecca_Allison has a poem featured in this (p. 67). Honestly, this poem is kind of epic, and I'm still working to understand it. But isn't that the great joy of poems? They're like boots: give them time, wear them in.

I’m sure I am regularly disappointing people. That’s hard to live with. And also completely inevitable.
Side note: This is a new position for me, but one I think matters. Women need to be heard and seen by their leaders, and most church leaders are men.

Just heard a story of a group of 80yr olds who intentionally moved into the same nursing home to plant a church and live life on mission. That's how you finish strong.
