It’s almost like ACTUAL patriots are NOT okay with ACTUAL COMMUNISM.
Shove this all right up your Commie ass, @realDonaldTrump. Commie.💋

Didn't even touch Trump's corruption. The crypto scam. Pay-to-play pardons. Selling insider trading on Truth Social. Using tariffs to extort corporations and governments. Using pay-to-play to fund his vanity projects. Kidnapping the leader of a country and then looting it, claiming he doesn't know where the money from the looting is. Giving government contracts to corporations his kids are invested in. The insider stock trades. The Qatari plane. The no-bid contract on the reflecting pool that led to the false arrest of an innocent citizen.
I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but holy shit.

🚨THIS IS WHERE WE START WITH ACCOUNTABILITY: This man called out the crimes one by one. Amazing work!
I remember hearing about this stuff at the time and I wasn’t even into HP…why do people born after 9/11 (when our world ceased to exist) seem to think it’s humanly possible for them to have any input whatsoever on anything that took place before their existences 💀

When the last several Harry Potter books were released, we had midnight book launches attended by millions. Children, in some cases very young, finished these 700 & 800 page books in a single day. And now people are telling me I made it up, that this couldn’t ever have happened.
Shocking that the pick-me gay who supports the homophobic TQ+ movement in particular misogynistic trans women is now having to apologize for justifying creepy behavior. SHOCKED, I tell you!!!!!
I've met Russell Brand twice (I think):
Once when I hosted a Guardian Live event about his book in 2014.
Another time I interviewed him for The Big Issue when I was guest editing in 2015.
He also gave my publishers an endorsement for my book The Establishment, which I was mortified about at the time mostly because I thought it was so OTT it would obviously invite ridicule (which it did).
At the time I saw him as a crude means to reach disillusioned younger people with left-wing politics - the sort of people who wouldn't be reached by conventional left-wing journalists and politicians.
As a result I was willing to overlook, or just not look into, his history of problematic behaviour / statements, including sexism.
I convinced myself that he was on some sort of journey and that was a good thing. That was an obvious misjudgement.
I did think he was a bit of a chancer / had a messianic complex, but overlooked that too as a necessary evil in reaching disengaged people.
But that was clearly his main driving force and he clearly ended up concluding that right-wing politics was a better vehicle to satisfy it.
It's an important lesson in not stupidly engaging clearly problematic figures, however charismatic or however much mass appeal they have, in the service of a cause.
What I would say is that right now we should be centring the survivors of a rapist and sexual predator.
I personally don't really think those trying to point score have his survivors' interests at heart.
I would also argue that those with the big questions to answer are the right-wing figures who continue to stand by him and spread conspiratorial nonsense in his defence.
Finally, let's hope that other possible survivors of Russell Brand feel able to come forward.

My mum is constantly like "did you see this bit of news?" And I always have to ask if she saw it from Facebook and then do a little bit of research for her to make sure she ain't getting duped. And more often than not, she is. The other day some fake account "spoiled" a reality TV show she is watching, claimed a bunch of contestants were poisoned and they had to shut down production. It was an AI page, and there was nothing else on the internet about it. My poor mother 😂

I don't condone blowing up Israel, that would be evil. Sure, no one would miss them, and the world would heal, but it would be blood on our hands.
We'd have to hear the survivors continue to cry until the end of time, so simple expulsion is a better choice. They're used to it.
Has anyone checked on that abolish bed times guy from Reddit?
I feel like that was the best version of the left.
They were silly little guys who liked to complain about “capitalism” (paying for anything ever) and liked posting their OTPs.
It was an era of joy; an era of head pats.
Now, I guess they want to, what? Blow up Israel? Destroy the Democratic Party?
Okay, they wanted to destroy the Democratic Party before. But it was CUTE 🥰 like in a “same thing we always do, pinky…” sort of way.
It was a humbler time; a happier time.

I think people are so determined to make this observation more palatable that they’re missing the actual point. Yes, trauma responses are negatively interpreted. And what happens when people negatively interpret you? They dislike you. They label you toxic, bitter, annoying, obsessive, unstable and difficult to be around. That’s precisely what I’m describing.
People are often more comfortable siding with an abuser because the abuser isn’t asking anything of them. The victim, however, is asking them to exercise empathy, discernment, integrity and sometimes accountability. One person’s distress disrupts their comfort; the other’s composure preserves it.
I’ve experienced this firsthand. When I started speaking about my abuse, I wasn’t met with compassion. I was called annoying, obsessed, bitter, scorned and low vibrational. I lost support because I was no longer the happy-go-lucky person people enjoyed being around. My suffering became an inconvenience to people who had no interest in understanding it.
That’s the point. Victims don’t just experience the abuse. They can also experience social rejection for exhibiting the psychological consequences of that abuse. And instead of acknowledging that reality, people keep trying to repackage it into language that makes it sound less uncomfortable. I’m not talking about people who recognize their limitations. I’m talking about people who actively dislike, discredit and socially punish victims for being visibly traumatized.

It's not that you are unlikeable, but rather than all your energy is focused on surviving, trying to make sense of what has happened, retracing your step, searching for safety within yourself and your environment. In a moment like that, it's hard to prioritize your social impact

I won’t even meet a man unless he knows tea. Trannies also need to stop obsessing on straight men. Have you considered that a heterosexual man is looking for a woman who one day can have his children. That’s the entire point of the human species. A neo-wound is incapable of that.

I guess more than anything for me it’s just the AUDACITY to speak like you’re among this example you used for STRAIGHT men💀
