Good for you. I do this all the time (much to my asthmatic 9 yr old daughter’s deep embarrassment). Mostly people are apologetic about being so thoughtless when I talk about kids’ health & switch off. Mostly… Mentioning climate is a non-starter 🙄

Today I was back to school (as teacher this time!) running a session on #sustainable #marketing ⁦@CambridgeJBS⁩. Fascinating talking to participants from brands & industries all over the world sharing challenges & ideas, & hopefully sparking some new innovations…

Gotta find some fun in irony right now…
Interesting to see the Conservative’s conference slogan on the lectern in Downing Street as we await Rishi Sunak’s net zero announcement.

Science is very clear. It’s not net zero in 2050 that must be the headline goal, but cutting emissions before then, including 50% cut by 2030. Delaying action deepens peril for our children & grandchildren. Think Libya, Greece, mass migration & all the rest, & on a massive scale.
Rishi Sunak is poised to water down some of the government’s biggest net zero commitments, including plans to phase out the installation of new gas boilers and delaying a ban on the sale of new diesel and petrol cars thetimes.co.uk/article/rishi…

“The government remains completely committed to its net zero commitments” & commits to doing absolutely nothing that gives us any hope of addressing the #climate crisis, creating #green jobs, protecting our health, wellbeing & resilience. Wow, theguardian.com/environment/…

After visiting her #Malmö schools, school friends, favourite parks, cafes, beaches, sauna etc etc the Malibob convened a family meeting to lobby for a return to #Sweden. Hard to argue with her logic…!

Enjoying Copenhagen’s many miles of streets designed for walking, cycling & wheeling, the UK’s current vitriol against low traffic neighbourhoods feels happily distant. And batshit crazy! #qualityoflife #climateaction #activetravel

By total coincidence yesterday we managed to join the opening ceremony of ⁦@IKEA⁩’s newest store during our visit to #Copenhagen. Wonderful to see some of the concepts I worked on in the early stages (roof gardens etc) brought to life at last!
