so Anthropic files for IPO and then immediately drops a blog post calling one of their biggest open-weight competitors a danger to the world? classic!
now seems like a good time to point out that I built and run OBLITERATUS, an abliteration framework with over 8k stars and 1.5k forks on GitHub, using Anthropic’s very own models! 🤗

Introducing Xiaomi MiMo-V2.6 — Pro & Flash.
Frontier intelligence, all the modalities, built in public.
🔹 Two omnimodal models, advancing through scaled reinforcement learning
🔹 Pro performs on par with Claude Opus 5 and GPT-5.6 Sol across most agent benchmarks
🔹 Pro scores 46 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index — the highest among open-source models
🔹 Stronger coding, computer use, 3D reasoning and creative capabilities
🔹 Open model weights, technical report, RL environments and training code

Congratulations to @typesafeai on Jev! In April 1991, when compute was a million times more expensive, I published the first Jev-like neural decision system in Munich [AC91, Sec. 2]. Back then we called this “adaptive confidence.”

Those who are wondering, I am Nandakishor M, the creator of Laya, now competing against Jev. Just a simple guy from a small village in Kerala just teaching generative AI to everyone through instagram!!!

JEV actually doesn't even run deterministically
Exact same prompts give you different probabilities when you run it multiple times
The ORDER of the choices DRASTICALLY changes the output probs
I am more and more confused by the their "no-hallucination" claim
Guys it’s a misconception that Jev can’t hallucinate
It’s a non-generative LM ie it models probabilities of things given language as context
The guarantee is the type-safety, and that answers are deterministic - ie no stochastic sampling. The deterministic answers can still be confidently wrong!
It can still hallucinate if the training data on the topic was under cooked

How often do AI agents cheat?
We’re releasing CheatBench, a reward gaming evaluation spanning math, coding, knowledge work, visual tasks, and more.
After Hugging Face, AI companies tried to address this, but frontier agents still cheat frequently.
cheatbench.ai/
They're claiming AI is dangerous because an OpenAI model attacked Hugging Face.
When it happened, frontier models were completely useless thanks to their dumb guardrails.
What actually defended it was a self-hosted GLM-5.2.
Yet this cartel is out here saying their neutered frontier models are "safe," while the open-weight AI that literally stopped the attack is the real threat to humanity.
Ridiculous.
Janito 4.33.0 brings a safer default, read-only tools, with /rwx to allow full privileges for a single turn
Something I have been carefull while developing Janito is a good cached tokens ratio. So far So good.
