internet safety tip: if somebody tells you/does something that makes you feel strong emotions, and then asks for personal information or sends you a link, they’re likely phishing. take a deep breath and think before you act.
Um, don't really want to muddy the debate, but can I just say that fanartists don't have it better - fanart theft and repost without credits or permission is very a thing, fanartist have also been refused, cussed out or blocked when we asked the person to take the post down.
And we definitely get a lot of "Well it's your fault for posting it on the public internet" "It's not even your IP" "Your work is fugly anyway".
Seen a lot of posts saying that fanartists have it better and I can promise you that really isn't the case.
