🚨BREAKING: This would be 240,000 over three years at a time when 1 in 6 young Brits are unemployed. Work visas already exist that EU nationals can apply for. So why?

The implications of regularizing the migration of 1.5 illegal migrants. Well if Andy Burden agrees Freedom of Movement with the EU, then that's another 1.5 million illegal migrants that we won't be able to stop entering the UK.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has called on the European Commission to investigate the implications of Spain's mass migrant regularization program, accusing Socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez of pursuing an immigration policy that contradicts the direction taken by most European countries. Spain approved a decree in April 2026 initially expected to grant legal status to approximately 500,000 undocumented migrants, providing eligible applicants with one-year residence and work permits. Nearly 1.18 million applications were subsequently submitted. Denmark fears the policy could encourage further irregular migration into Europe, while Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has also criticized Madrid's approach.

The v definition of smug, globalist establishment

No, wouldn’t this be poetic justice? Andy Burnham either lied to voters when promising not to resurrect the Brexit issue or is now misleading the public when stating his intention to rejoin the EU. It would only take 10% of the good people of Makerfield to demand a recall, which would lead to a new by-election to allow them to rectify their mistake at the last vote.

Still plenty to play for! The public are more likely to think that rejoining the EU will have a negative impact on Britain’s ability to make decisions in its best interests. Which is rather important, and will become more so as the EU becomes even less democratic... #sovereignty
The latest Ipsos poll appears to show a strong majority in favour of rejoining the EU, but note how support wanes when voters are asked about their own standard of living, immigration, and, above all, "Britain’s ability to make decisions in its best interests"... 🤔 #sovereignty

Nonsense. The real world evidence shows Britain is better off after Brexit . Who cares what Reeves says, she crashed the economy
Former Chancellor @RachelReevesMP declares tonight: “Britain’s future lies in the European Union.” As she points out, “Brexit has made us poorer, weaker and less secure.” This debate is moving very quickly now. The Brexiteers have lost control. thetimes.com/uk/politics/art…

Europe has developed a pretty interesting definition of “protecting democracy.” 🇷🇴 Romania annulled a presidential election after Călin Georgescu finished first, then barred him from the rerun. 🇭🇺 Hungary’s new government rewrote the constitution with retroactive limits that block Viktor Orbán from becoming PM again and later approved rules barring long-serving MPs from the next parliamentary election. 🇩🇪 Germany’s domestic intelligence service classified the AfD as extremist, opening the door to much heavier surveillance of the country’s biggest opposition party. 🇫🇷 France upheld Marine Le Pen’s conviction, kept restrictions on her political future and ordered her to wear an electronic ankle tag. 🇪🇸 In Spain, more than a dozen people tied to Pedro Sánchez’s political and personal circle have been investigated or prosecuted in separate corruption cases, while Sánchez himself has not been charged. 🇬🇧 Britain postponed local elections during a sweeping reorganization of local government, triggering a petition accusing the government of voter suppression. 🇵🇱 And now Poland has police surrounding its Constitutional Tribunal while the government and opposition accuse each other of trying to seize control of the court. The real red line in Europe may not be democracy... It may be leaving the club. Writer: Sol

The situation in Poland is very serious. Arrests and a raid on the constitutional court - all to defend the undemocratic EU.

All the real world evidence is that Britain has done better outside the EU , not more dodgy dossiers
Here’s the @bbcquestiontime clip that triggered the @reformparty_uk “let’s talk about anything but Brexit can we?” approach to debate … even its architects know it has screwed our economy

Farewell Telegraph. 😔 It’s been through ups and downs over decades but firing all its best commentators likely makes it unviable. Especially as its readers know exactly why. @AllisonPearson your readers and listeners will follow you. Onwards and upwards.
This is a big mistake from the Telegraph. @AllisonPearson is one of the most fearless journalists today. She is the Telegraph! She firmly stood her ground during lockdown despite the fierce pushback and articulates many "elephant in the room" subjects well. Absolute madness.

I’ve uncovered more than £1 million of your money going from the Ministry of Justice straight to pro-immigration charities. Charities that campaign against border controls and help illegal immigrants stay in Britain. This must stop. The Ministry of Justice exists to serve the British people, not to act as a cash machine for left-wing lawyers.

If you wanted to get rid of a blocker to the UK rejoining the EU, then your target list would include destroying news outlets like the Telegraph. So councidental that a German company bought them and is now firing all the Eurosceptic journalists. Totes coincidental.

As misleading about Brexit as she was about everything else
NEW Rachel Reeves tonight declares Britain should return to the European Union The former chancellor says Brexit made the UK “poorer, weaker and less secure” She will make her case in a lecture at the Harvard Kennedy School on Monday Reeves helped draft the Labour 2024 manifesto which said no EU return She’s one of the most prominent Lab figures to back rejoin since Burnham became PM The tectonic plates within Labour are shifting. Will more follow her? Reeves writes in The Sunday Times: “I am proud of the progress we have already made in strengthening our relationship with the European Union. Brexit has made us poorer, weaker and less secure. “There is a debate to be had about our future relationship with Europe, and I welcome Andy Burnham’s leadership in facing up to this. No one in the Treasury ever doubted where my instincts were. “I do believe Britain’s future lies in the European Union. “However, it is incumbent on supporters of our re-entry to make the argument, demonstrate tangible benefits and to get the next steps right — especially ahead of the UK-EU summit later this month, where at a minimum we should be looking for confirmation of the ambitious youth mobility scheme negotiated earlier this year, and — I hope — progress towards entry into the SAFE defence partnership.” thetimes.com/article/06d9b6a…

You put the same nonsense on LinkedIn How are renewables protecting us? The only ones whose CfDs are active have strike prices higher than the cost of generating electricity with gas which is itself inflated by Labour's plans to harmonise the carbon market with the EU The windfarms with lower CfDs haven't activated their contracts yet!! Plus we still have to pay the huge balancing and grid costs they impose all of which add £billions to our bills I can't decide if you just don't understand the market or are just dishonest but this is getting boring

Project Rejoin's claims that the UK could have significant influence over EU rules are another triumph of hope over experience... Just look back at the failed attempts of Blair, Brown and Cameron to reform the EU - on issues ranging from the CAP to regional aid and migration! 🤷‍♀️

This nonsense would simply require almost every country in the world to apologise to every other country. And then for many to thank Britain for ending the slave trade at great expense and by initiating the Industrial Revolution
‘It’s tantamount to Germany not apologising for the Holocaust.’ @aljhlester lays out the case for why the UK should offer reparations to countries affected by the slave trade.
