in ac2 the robes themselves stand out less imo
but the thing is this guy wears armour so it STILL stands out

i think what i like about ac1 is how minimal the gear is idk it looks sleek

i find it interesting how (talking about he first ac game mostly) the assassin robes are white “traditionally” ig. You’d think it’s a bit silly cus white would stain with blood so easily but ig the whole gag with the hidden blade is that it-
either that OR it’s just a way to show how skillful a master assassin is
that he can perform the job so well that even in white clothes he can kill a man without getting dirty
and blending in so well despite standing out
