This what I calmly try to explain to folks who wanna argue Lakers
What are we arguing about?
Ive been watching GOATS in purple and gold back to back for 30 YEARS BROTHER
This is the High Life 🥂
Gilbert Arenas says he’s just realized as a Lakers fan no one’s ever going to feel how we feel:
“We’ve seen the greatest of the greatest basketball players that ever walked the planet, we’re missing one just Michael fu*king Jordan. Other than that when it comes to someone putting that ball in the basket Kareem, Bron, Luka, Shaq, Kobe.”

For tonight to mean anything, the immediate demand/priority for the new Democratic congress must be immediately ending all funding for the catastrophic war with Iran and all military and diplomatic support for Israel.

Draymond legitimately shows up to some games with every intention of fighting instead of playing basketball. Idk how he doesn’t get lengthy suspensions we’ve seen this 100 times

Nah man, they gotta bring back Ayton and sign Mitchell Robinson instead🔥💯
The #Lakers "Big 3" of Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves and Walker Kessler have a +32.4 net rating in their first 146 minutes playing together.

Feel bad for Luka cuz the slander campaign for him came from inside the house with Nico and after that he went to a team people already don’t like and had drama that preceded him but his arrival also made more complicated
He really needs a ring in LA. Badly
Bill Simmons said this is Luka's MVP year, and instead of going in depth about the case for this, he then focused the entire segment on saying how he's a hard watch due to his complaining, his anger, and how he feels that it is the worst he has ever seen. How because of this he can't even put him on his main television.

They should be banned from saying anything involving the player rankings, M V P, or anything close to it until the all star break or lose their vote. They can only provide power rankings and other “journalistic” duties. But the bias is out of control. xitter.gq/thelukaverse/status/21…
In 2019, Bill Simmons called Luka Doncic the best 20-year-old ever, comparing him to Larry Bird and LeBron James.
In 2020, he called Luka the best 21-year-old ever. Barack Obama laughed, “Of course you picked Luka,” teasing Bill about his “Larry Bird fantasy.”
By 2024, Bill was openly frustrated with Luka’s antics.
In 2025, Luka became a Laker.
Now, in 2026, Luka is on another MVP run and Bill finds him more insufferable than ever.
So what happened?
Did Obama make Bill self-conscious about the racial optics of championing a white superstar? Did Luka become a legitimate threat to Larry Bird’s legacy? Or did watching his former favorite become the face of the Lakers finally push him over the edge?

i can’t wrap my mind around the league being okay w/ the media votes on player awards covering the sport this way
it’s a huge issue and it’s the only major sport that this happens in
“This is the most insufferable he’s ever been.”
@BillSimmons believes Luka is on an MVP run, but he’s not a fan of the way he plays.
