It’s “Billy Budd’s” final day on our stage — so naturally, we’re sharing an excerpt of @johnchest singing about Billy Budd’s final day! You still have time to see what the San Francisco Chronicle calls “the opera of 2019.” But hurry! Last show is at 2 p.m. sfopera.com/2019-20-season/b…

The @sfwarmemorial literally shaking with energy in the sitzprobe of @SFOpera Billy Budd. The intensity of this piece is thunderous. Six percussionists plus four onstage drummers gives you an indication of what’s in store as the HMS Indomitable prepares for battle.

From today’s piano dress of Billy Budd @sfopera. This is a production that pulls you all the way in. You will feel onboard the HMS Indomitable and in the middle of the knife edge tension of 18th century seafaring. It’s breathtaking.
