Next year’s elections will be the most important in generations.
They are an opportunity to make a stand for the future.
To stand up against those who want to drag us back to the past.
To say very clearly that there will be No Going Back.

💥⚠️NEW: 'This is all about protecting veterans' - Sinn Féin MLA slams Troubles Bill amendments
🎥🎤@sinnfeinireland MLA @DeirdreHargey tells Chief Reporter @jamesgould23 that the amendments do nothing to give victims and survivors confidence in how legacy issues are dealt with in Northern Ireland.
She was speaking as the Government's Northern Ireland Troubles Bill is set to be discussed in the House of Commons today.
Among a series of amendments tabled by the Government, serious Troubles-related prosecutions would require the consent of the UK Attorney General.
MPs are expected to vote on the legislation next week. If passed, it will move to the House of Lords for further consideration.
Labour has faced criticism over delays and aspects of the Bill, but the Government insists the changes will protect veterans while allowing victims' families to continue seeking answers and justice.

I’m not saying that the mainstream media companies are terrified of the prospect of a Sinn Féin government, but I’m not saying they’re not, either!

I have confidence in the people of the Garvaghy Road.
I have confidence in the people from right across Ireland who stood with them to protect peace and progress.
I have confidence in the vast majority of people in our society, from all backgrounds, who do not want to be dragged backwards.
And I have confidence in my decision to support the Garvaghy Road residents.
It’s 2026, not 1969. There is no going back.

Pouring paint over an historical relevant plaque is not republicanism. It’s simple vandalism dressed up as solidarity. The #UnitedIrish ideal was to unite people across religious divides. Sectarian stunts like this betray that ideal and do nothing for Garvaghy Road residents.
