A question I never ask before I vote. Is this dignified?
For me, the only dignified choice is to leave the Senate race blank—an undervote representing a rejection of ideological absolutism. This makes me no less a Democrat. I refuse to be complicit in excusing or accepting extremism to beat extremism. The madness has to stop somewhere.

The press is addicted to saying Congress passed the law while not mentioning that Trump signed it.
"The order does not explain why waiving the sanctions is in the interests of the United States or what rationale Mr. Trump is providing to Congress for the waivers." nytimes.com/2026/10/16/us/po…

To be clear, the 1st Cir struck down your policy after full adversary briefing on 9/18. Rather than seek clarification on whether it took effect immediately, you tried to fly still more people to 3d countries so it would be too late for them. On 9/23 it found out & stopped you.
Without even allowing the government a chance to respond, and in the dark of night, a federal appeals court blocked us from conducting all third-country removals of illegal aliens, an entirely legal and invaluable tool to stem the tide of illegal immigration. We will immediately seek relief from the Supreme Court, which previously granted a stay in this very same case. foxnews.com/politics/federal…
I don’t mind that Neagley delves into trauma but if Reacher ever explores how he got fucked up as a kid I’m out.

It is shameful that @nytimes @TheAthletic buried the fact that the biggest punishment in NBA history was the result of an investigation by journalist @PabloTorre. And to call it the result of a "podcast episode" is a further slap in the face. He won a Pulitzer for this story and they call it an "episode" instead of, at the outset -- crediting him with exposing this scandal. Really really lame.

The first Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast on Kawhi came out on Sep. 3, 2025. Feels like the NBA missed an opportunity by not just waiting another day to do this on the anniversary.
They’re dying to say family is off limits but she’s not family. She’s a paid lunatic who maintains Trump’s delusional bubble.
How the White House is thinking about Ossoff’s invocation of Natalie Harp, per @ShelbyTalcott this AM:
They’re upset because they don’t have steam catapults.
Losers don’t have to concede. They’re still losers. We don’t need a concession to make it official. Why not stop asking for one?

Any time you hear a politician advocating for freezing or cutting property taxes, it should be understood as a way to enhance the economic position of boomers while reduce the opportunities for young, aspiring homeowners.

I could think of more different CVs
Kaia Gerber and Homer Gere could not have come to “The Shards,” Ryan Murphy’s alluring new adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’s 2023 novel, with more different CVs. Gerber, the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, has modeled since she was 10 and performed in two previous Murphy productions, among other television and film work. Gere, the son of Richard Gere and actress Carey Lowell, meanwhile, was raised in quiet Pound Ridge, New York, and had never been on a professional set until last summer. voguemagazine.visitlink.me/X…
The war will end when we accept that we will pay reparations, whether they are called tolls, unfreezing funds, or voluntary. If the final terms are humiliating it’s because we humiliated ourselves.
People were already taken out of the movie by the police officer character who says, “It’s not like we arrest anyone for having sex on the other nights. It’s a law but we don’t take it seriously. So relax.”
