After yesterday’s new version of the Blaydon Races it seems as good a time as any to reshare this. Let me bring it back properly! @worflags @NUFC @ToonPolls @toonchants @NUSCuk @nufctrust
@worflags I’ve cut together some older versions of the #BlaydonRaces being sung at a louder and slower pace. Hopefully the majority agree that this sounds better?! Can we ever get it back to being sung like it was? #NUFC #ToonChants

A grandad and grandson who travelled hundreds of miles to meet @GeoffreyBoycott at our fantastic North Shields sold out event on Friday!
They loved making memories with the legend, chatting all things cricket and sharing their passion for coaching.

It’s only the 30 years to the day since Alan Shearer scored his first goal in a Newcastle shirt, in a friendly at Lincoln. #NUFC

What can I say that hasn't already been said to describe Kevin.
A gentleman in every way, he always had time for everyone. Kevin's influence on the football world was enormous, and his achievements outstanding.
Playing alongside him was an honour and a privilege. My thoughts go out to Jean and the girls, and all Kevin's family, at this very sad time.
I know their memories will stay with them forever, as will the memories that Kevin gave to so many people " along the way".
Rest in peace my friend, you will never be forgotten.
David, Julie and Nick McCreery
