I’m thrilled to share that my film, Nimona, earned a nomination for Best Animated Feature at tonight’s Oscars. This nomination marks a milestone for me, as it’s the first time one of my films has been recognized in this category. It’s a very meaningful moment for me, especially considering the journey it took to get here. It’s a testament to the dedication and support of everyone involved in bringing Nimona to life. I’m incredibly proud of what we achieved, and I’m profoundly grateful for those who had unwavering support and belief in this project, even in the face of skepticism and endless hurdles. To the remarkable Nimona team and all the talented nominees across every category - wishing everyone the best of luck tonight! 🤞🏻 #nimona #academyawards #oscars #bestanimatedfeature

Telling important stories is a privilege, and one I don’t take lightly. I’ve enjoyed my time getting to know Her Majesty and am honored she has allowed us to tell her story. Her devotion and deep love for her country and people is inspirational and something I hope everyone who sees this fully internalizes. To be able to reunite with my Women of the Movement team to tell her story is such a blessing. Working with people you love and trust and who are committed to honest storytelling is something I don’t take for granted after all these years. I couldn’t ask for anything more with this project. Excited to share it with all of you soon. #farah Full article: deadline.com/2024/06/farah-p…

The Vet was imploded 20 years ago today (wild), and ESPN wrote an article about it, which they anchored with what turned out to be my first ever media quote. Oh young John, for better or worse, sometimes I miss how quotable you were… 😂😬 #thevet #phillies #gophils #ringthebell espn.com/espn/news/story?id=…

What a brutal game, capped off by an absolutely atrocious call in the final minutes (and yes, it was atrocious). Nevertheless, seeing the birds in the SB with friends is something I’ll never take for granted. Here is a photo dump from a very painful day… instagram.com/p/Co5UwNbpHDk/…

This was a year ago yesterday. I spent all day yesterday replaying it in my mind and on my phone. Our sweet Jema passed away this past Wednesday after a brief but intense battle with hemangiosarcoma. We miss our little angel so much. RIP Jemka/JuJu/Lala/Little Boo Boo 🕊️✝️ – at Wallington, NJ
