🚨Important announcement by Government of Dubai Media Office:
@DXBMediaOffice highlights how misinformation about Dubai spreads on social media, with false claims such as:
- “I hear explosions in Dubai.”
- “Dubai faces severe shortage of goods.”
- “Life in Dubai has come to a standstill.”
Analysis shows these posts mainly originate from accounts outside the #UAE, often located hundreds or thousands of kilometers away, illustrating how misinformation is disseminated.
The key message is to cut through the noise and focus on the facts. For accurate information and reliable updates, professionals are advised to follow the Government of Dubai Media Office on its official channels. 🇦🇪

Dubai haters now so desperate to do this place down they've resorted to saying we're all lying. Sorry to disappoint, but as of now, it's chill. People are working/on the beach/out jogging/ shopping; usual stuff....All that might change, but right now, no drama.

JUST to be clear, British citizens who live in Dubai are not queuing up to be “evacuated” at taxpayers’ expense. They’re chill. Tourists see it differently. Sorry to blow the lazy lefty narrative. 🙄

Residents of this great country convey to the world normal life in the UAE
And they defend this country and even insist on staying here with their certainty that it is a passing crisis and will pass
These are not paid media campaigns or passing content, but reactions from generous souls, exchanging charity with loyalty
The truth is that these are the ones who are called brothers
We are not united by language, religion or blood

We've had our first couple of "Can you please tell me, what is the catch?" emails. I understand, it does sound too good to be true.
It isn't, if you are alone on Christmas day don't be, cone to us for a free Christmas dinner & a glass of vino. We promise, no catches or gimmicks
It wouldn't be Christmas without catching up with @thealexsw19 Landlords Mick and Sarah. If you know someone by themselves this Christmas, don't forget to tell them about the Alex Christmas Day Dinner.

Christmas day is no fun sitting in the house on your own. Please come to us if you find yourself alone, we'll give you some FREE dinner & a FREE beer to wash it down. I absolutely promise you it's not a trick or a smart ploy to catch you out, just come. ❤️❤️

Everyone has a right to a life lived to its full potential. While conversion therapy continues, many will only know grief. Please, please, please tell your MP, of whatever party, to tell Johnson to honour his pledge to ban conversion therapy this year. RT if you agree.

Crazy but beautifully heart-warming day in the Alex yesterday. We fed 146 folks who would otherwise have been alone, sent a meal out & sat with a lady who is housebound, & sent out a couple of meals to two soldiers who were isolating. It was a gorgeous day, Thankyou ❤️❤️❤️❤️
