Another BIG shoutout to 'The Den' in Brisbane. 🦁
Because Brisbane play in such a big stadium with a big tiered lower section, I don't think people quite realise how big the den is!
They have been through and continue to go through some dark times...
But, you can never take moments like this away from them....
This league, these clubs and these supporters still bring so much life to the league.
People are quick to forget when they start slagging the support off.....
Some of my best footballing memories have happened in this stadium and in section 332.
Hopefully many many more lifetimes of memories to be made... 🧡

I don't think we give The Shed End the credit it deserves.
Through thick and thin, they've travelled thousands of kilometres to support their club since the 90s.
A lot gets made of the RBB, North Terrace and The Cove.
But for me, 'The Shed' are among the most loyal supporters in the country. 💜
I've said it before, they are sitting on something massive in Perth. We saw it in the NSL and glimpses of it in the @aleaguemen.

With Ognenovski talking about the fan experience and Vidmar talking about expansion there has been a major vibe shift with ALM coaches picking up the meta topics that resonate the strongest. When it’s not or even can’t be the football it WILL be this.
A-League legend Sasa Ognenovski spoke out in support of fans after a silent protest in Sydney overnight.
Western Sydney & Macarthur's active sections were silent for the opening 20 minutes of their clash. They feel the game's fans are policed unfairly.
Ognenovski agreed and offered an explanation:
"I don't know of any other sport in Australia that's policed as much... AFL doesn't like us, rugby doesn't like us. That's why."

Try wiping the smile off Brisbane Roar captain and goalscorer, Tom Aldred 😁
'I know what centre-halves hate... I know what I want to create!
With just seconds to go, the 'big man' delivered with a striker's finish in the box 🫡

Of all the ‘solutions’ Simon Pearce and his City Football Group have brought to the A-League, the normalisation of empty stadia would have to be the worst.
Australian football has been hijacked by executives who have zero interest in encouraging attendance from fans.
Always depressing having to watch City home games. Atmosphere is non existent. #MCYvSYD

The bigger issue is that Pearce has been ‘advising’ the APL for years.
What’s he advising them on? How to guarantee every A-League stadium remains 95% empty?

Sasa Ognenovski’s comments post match regarding the silent protests of the RBB and the Bullpen, relating to issues of police overreach.

Some decent words from Sasa Ognenovski post match regarding the police overreach the RBB brought to life midweek 😳
To pull a short quote, “They don’t like us”.

I watch other football occasionally but I’m Australian born and my whole family is Australian so I have no reason to support a European club. Most European football games I watch is games with an Aussie involved.

Pleasantly surprised at the level Aldred is playing at. Seems rejuvenated after his time in India.

I reckon once he gets his first he’ll be okay. Let’s see.
I’m more concerned about Vidic (needs to toughen up) Ngor (needs to think and play quicker) and Maeroni (actually played okay tonight, but slow and always a smidge away from a card). Francois and Nam def look the goods

We're again disappointed to hear about the ongoing ostracisation of active supporters by NSW authorities.
While we acknowledge that Aleague management and clubs find themselves in a difficult position, it's clear that a more proactive and open leadership approach is required.
Salary cap wavers run out for an Auckland team funded with the NZ billionaire migration investment requirement. Let's see how long the owner commitment lasts.
