Nothing like a SIMION ‘Christmas Tree’ to get into the holiday spirit 🎄Happy holidays to you and yours from the Cloud Lab!
Hats off to @ColinDHamill1 and all the speakers for a great #DPS2021 Session 305 Q&A! Unfortunately technical difficulties kept Kevin Walker from presenting, but don’t hesitate to ask Q’s via Slack if you have them! ☁️☁️☁️
Droplet freezing array ✨in the making✨by our #IndianaSpaceGrantConsortium summer research student Katherine!
Will you look at that beauty?! 🤩
And it comes with some exciting news - Kevin is officially back in the lab suspending droplets and validating his E-field models for the ExoEDB! HOORAY!
The @JohnsonCloudLab is off to a great start @PurdueEAPS with two new members! Join me in welcoming Robert (a senior planetary major) and Kevin (a junior astrobio major). We also have an honorary member / unofficial mascot - the lab rat, keeper of laser keys. 🐀☁️🧪
...And just like that the Johnson Cloud Lab @BrownGeoSci / @Brown_EnvSoc has closed up shop. There is a lot we’ll miss but many, many good things on the horizon.
See you soon @PurdueEAPS!
The lab Twitter account is one year old today! To celebrate we’ve got some big news in the works... stay tuned 😉 #MyTwitterAnniversary #bignews #laboratory #science
.@kimboslicehdz made some potassium chloride (KCl) ‘snow’ in the process of creating a supersaturated solution today ❄️
Did you know - KCl is often used as a substitute for table salt (sodium chloride, NaCl) and may be forming #clouds in #Exoplanets like Gj 1214b!
