Wait a minute. Now the EU is increasing Tariffs against more Canadian Industries and products. Maybe the others that have already increased tariffs aren’t the problem after all. Maybe our chief negotiator who is failing to get deals for Canada is the issue. 🤷‍♂️
‼️BREAKING: EU to Hit Canada with Carbon Tariffs All is fair in love, war and trade! In a stunning blow, the EU is imposing carbon border charges on Canadian steel, iron, and aluminum starting 2027. -$2.8 billion in exports exposed — no exemption for Canada despite its own carbon price. -Internal docs call it “effectively a carbon tariff.” Quebec and Newfoundland hardest hit as Ottawa pushes EU trade diversification. -Canadian producers face new compliance costs and higher prices on metals already slammed by U.S. tariffs. -The EU is weaponizing climate policy into a direct trade hit on Canada. The EU is applying its Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) to Canadian steel, iron and aluminum to stop “carbon leakage”. Our new best friends dont even want our stuff! How brutal is this?

Congratulations to PM Carney on setting a new record! After telling Canadians that we need to make sacrifices, his flights and entourage just spent over $175,000 on in-flight food. Menus included veal escalope, seabass, and panna cotta, costing roughly $2,400 per passenger. Alberta‘s referendum Option 1 was full of sacrifices. Just not sacrifices for everyone.

Canadian interest rate increased again. Canadian crude oil tanker ban continues. Canada‘s inflation continues to increase, weakening your dollar. Canada‘s food and fuel prices continue to increase. Canada‘s unemployment rate continues to climb. Option 1 was a very expensive option, trapping Albertans indefinitely into ever increasing Canadian costs and job losses. Any buyers remorse yet?

Fear mongering and classical conditioning. Want to know who is causing division and danger? Look to who repeats it to set the stage…
I did a search on how many times Carney has said “in a dangerous and divided world” in either a News Release, speech or video since May 2025. The list is shocking. The city of Calgary paid over $1.7 million just to the chairman of a committee to see why a water pipe broke. Municipality tax dollars at work. 🤦‍♂️ Calgarians, how’s your property tax increase feeling now?
NEW: After a council vote yesterday, the City of Calgary has released the costs behind the $2.3M budget for the independent panel review of the 2024 Bearspaw feeder main break. $2.276M was spent on paying the panel including more than $1.7M for the panel chair.

It’s too bad Albertans didn’t have some sort of political leverage to stop the Federal government from continuing to block crude oil exports… Option 2 will come again in a different form.
🚨BREAKING: The Liberals just voted against Bill C-264, leaving their Liberal tanker ban in place and preventing the export of crude oil from Prince Rupert on B.C's north coast. This shows that Prime Minister Mark Carney is not serious about making Canada an energy superpower.

There are only two groups who were consistent about covid. Those who said it was a deadly plague and followed everything and still do today. And then those who understood it was a media driven panic not based in reality at all. Only one was right.

A non-binding referendum question has now become an oath of loyalty without a governance bylaw amendment? 🤔
Rogue UCP Board? The reference in Daniele Smith’s loyalty pledge form “that the UCP’s Board of Directors have resolved” indicates that the identified new requirement for election to the UCP Board of Directors came about through a resolution made by the current Board. Accordingly, the current board, in my view, has clearly overstepped its powers. They are now creating an amendment to the party’s bylaws and rules on the fly without adoption by the members. Accordingly, the current Board of Directors should resign; certainly those responsible for such behaviour. Attached is the form from “Rules and Procedures for the Election of the United Conservative Association Board of Directors”, which was prepared for the 2026 AGM.

Could we hope to see a similar statement on Albertas behalf from @ABDanielleSmith? Even better, from every Premier in Canada?

X is the number ONE news app in 143 Countries, and CANADA is not one of them 🤯 I asked Grok the top 5 new sources in Canada including independent voices and 4 of the 5 are Government funded 👀 I believe this is a big part of the problem. We need more independent voices in Canada. Congrats to Rebel news here

Looks like the tide might be turning. I hope they take the opportunity implement meaningful action to reduce government overreach and over spending. It may already be too little too late, but anything to protect families, financial stability, and restore social cohesion would be step in a better direction.

People rarely make new mistakes. They repeat the same ones, over and over, without ever truly understanding why. "Why" is the only question really worth asking. "Why" changes everything.

Vote Yes to the Nine. Vote Option 2 on Question 10. This is our chance for change Alberta.
Today you have a ballot in front of you. “Yes to the Nine” means Alberta gets a real say over our own immigration, so growth matches the housing, schools and hospitals we have to support it. It means temporary programs contribute to the services they use. It means constitutional reforms that protect this province's authority no matter who sits in Ottawa. Vote today. ✅ Vote for a stronger Alberta within a united Canada. ✅ Vote yes to the nine.
