We have (well, had) a member of the community who just couldn’t accept the concept of native and wrapped tokens.
He kept sending screenshots from DexScreener (or similar) showing the red exclamation mark and saying the token isn’t renounced.
One final time, I want to explain what the REACT token is.
It’s the native token of Reactive Network, which means all emission comes from Reactive Network. I honestly don’t know how it could be explained in simpler terms.
Outside of Reactive Network, for example on Ethereum or Base, REACT is represented by Wrapped REACT. That’s a token minted every time someone locks native tokens in the bridge contracts. When you bridge back to Reactive, the wrapped token is burned and the native tokens are unlocked from the bridge contract on Reactive.
Wrapped REACT’s smart contracts will never give up their mint functionality, because without it there would be no bridging.
Wrapped REACT’s smart contracts will never have their ownership renounced either. If they did and a vulnerability were found in the bridge, the team couldn’t do anything to stop the hack, and every token holder would become collateral damage.
Now let’s clear the air about Reactive Network itself. For context, any network can decide to mint tokens if all its validators agree to it. Remember CRO minting 70 billion tokens?
Reactive is committed to finding validation partners trusted by the space, not just by us. There’s no intention to mint tokens, today or in 10 years, but having external validation will end this discussion once and for all.
Cheers,
Daniil

Reactive Network will pause temporarily later this week (12:00 UTC Oct 28th) to carry out our promised migration to Reactive Omni.
This is the same upgrade already pushed out on Lasna testnet, bringing with it:
Instant Finality - Once a block is validated, it's permanent
Faster Block Times - Around 7x faster
No More RVMs - Reactive contracts will deploy just like Solidity
Full Validation/Delegation Staking - More details to come before launch

Debugging smart contracts used to mean hours in block explorers. Now you just ask. Reactive MCP diagnosed a blocked contract, found the unpaid debt, and handed over the exact fix command in 7 seconds. This is what dev UX should look like. 🔥

Reactive has now integrated with @RobinhoodCrypto chain, making it available as both an origin and destination chain to all users!

Reactive Network is working on webhooks 👀
So far, Reactive contracts send data out via on-chain callbacks. Soon they could ping any web server directly: bots, backends, alerts. No destination contract needed.

With Omni live on Lasna, Reactscan (lasna.reactscan.net) also got a significant amount of love. A little TL;DR on changes:
Two networks, one history. Reactive has lived through two very different versions of itself: the original network and Omni. Under the hood they store their data in completely different shapes. Reactscan now shows both as one continuous story. Any transaction from either era opens the same way, at the same kind of link, and you never need to know which version of the network it came from. Nothing from the early days was left behind.
Credit goes where it's due. On Omni, a reactive contract acts through a helper address the network generates for it. Until now Reactscan faithfully showed you that helper, which is technically correct and not useful at all. It now traces each action back to the contract that actually did it.
The home page stopped needing a refresh button. New blocks and transactions now appear the moment they land, and they slide into place instead of jumping around. With blocks arriving about once a second, it's oddly satisfying to leave open in a tab and watch the network breathe.
Callbacks tell you how the story ends. A callback is a Reactive contract reaching out and doing something on another chain. Before, you could see the request and then had to take it on faith. Now Reactscan follows it all the way: requested, sent, delivered or failed. We check delivery against the service that actually carries it out, not against our own guesswork.
Your wallet works here now. Connect it from the header. If a contract you care about is running low on funds or owes the network, you can top it up or settle its debt right from its page.
More of the network is visible. There's a new validators page showing who keeps Reactive running and how well connected they are. There's also a page listing every block, and a cleaner page for each single block. The network's own built-in contracts now get a page type of their own, instead of passing as just another address.
Reading it got easier. The transactions list now shows what each transaction did, how much it moved and what it cost, and you can hide whatever you don't care about. Hover over an address and every other place it appears lights up. That sounds small until you're trying to spot who keeps showing up. Contracts are sorted by latest activity, and the REACT price is now displayed on the main page much like other explorers do.
Fast, all the way down. Pages that used to take their time now load quickly, including ones deep in history. The old limit on how far back you could page through transactions is gone, so you can scroll back to the very first one if you have the patience.
And it looks the part. Home page, menus, tables, headers, footer: all of it was redesigned from the ground up.
Cheers, Daniil
