Spring 2027 will be the Gateway Seminary counseling program's second semester operating under its new title, Master of Biblical Counseling/MBC. Happy to have some of my friends join in the fun with the program's transition to biblical counseling:
@joehussung is teaching our first ever Common Counseling Problems class remotely and @jasonkovacs is teaching a newly revised and renamed counseling class, now called Law and Ethics in Biblical Counseling.
Grateful for these brothers.
Registration opens Monday! @GatewaySeminary

Reflections on the 2026 CCEF National Conference: Guest Post by John Kim. rpmministries.org/2026/10/cc… One of the things I have always appreciated about CCEF is its commitment to equipping the church with biblical principles and practices of wise, Christlike care. Note: I'm happy to post additional guest bloggers who would like to share publicly what CCEF meant to you. CCEF - Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation Jonathan D. 7/ A quality that I love about @ccef and the people who work there is a tireless dedication to finding the good, appreciating nuance, and dedicating our time and energy to helping the saint, sufferer, and sinner.
8/ If you're curious about what our vision of counseling looks like, @GunnerGundersen, myself, and our faculty recently did a 7-series podcast on @ccef's distinctives. I commend it to you-

5/ As @ccef approaches it's national conference next week, I'm looking forward to gathering and learning from men and women like Ed Welch, Steve Midgley, @BradHambrick, @NancyGuth3, @DarbyStrickland, Blair Linne, and more.
6/ @CCEF was founded in 1968...and at our 50 year anniversary in 2018, David said that his hopes for CCEF was that "We aim to keep pressing the growing edge of wisdom." I am grateful for the opportunity to do that work alongside my colleagues at CCEF.
Our January 2025–May 2026 Annual Report is now available! Read it online at ccef.org/report.
"I truly believe our best years are ahead of us. I don’t say that because I undervalue CCEF’s rich history or the countless ways God has used this ministry over the decades. Rather, I say it because our confidence has never rested in our own strength. It rests in the God 'who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think' (Ephesians 3:20). Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for praying, giving, and believing in the work God is doing through CCEF. Would you continue to pray with us in the months ahead—for wisdom, faithful provision, and steadfast dependence on the Lord as we pursue the mission he has given us?"
—Jonathan Holmes, CCEF Executive Director
