Window one over from top left is my office, which is why I've been working from home the past few days.
It's just DIFFERENT when you're home with the Irish☘

INSOMNIAC WITH DAVE ATTELL (2001) was a brilliant late-night comedy travelogue. Attell would hit a different city, stay out until sunrise & stumble into the kind of bizarre encounters no travel show would ever plan. Gloriously unfiltered TV.
What are the most underrated TV shows, the ones that no-one ever seems to talk about, but you love?

I'm going to need a bigger Tweet! Thrilled that my book, Shark Hunt, now has a cover and appears on the Harvard UP website. It explores the gory and generally disastrous history of human efforts to commodify sharks, from the early 20th C through the present. #sharks #history

I don't really know my Kantorowicz but this is it right?

🚨New Episode🚨@samuelmoyn and I talk with Diego Zambrano about his excellent new book, How Americans Enforce The Law, about when and why private lawsuits are used to enforce statutory rules. Download it while it’s hot!

My son is an angler fish. Not bad! My daughter is Elmo. Ok it's been done, but she's making it work.

Also given that Glaeser is such a city guy, and my book gives cities kind of short shrift, I feel like maybe I got away with something.

One time a student told me the thing they liked most about my teaching style was how I "play dumb" as if I don't understand the text and let them figure it out. And all I was thinking at the time was: what are they talking about, I never play dumb
