Burkina Faso Adds The Haitian Revolution To Its Secondary School Curriculum
As part of its continuing efforts to decolonize its information space, Burkina Faso is introducing the Haitian Revolution into its secondary school curriculum.
This move comes one year after Mali suspended the teaching of the French Revolution from its own secondary school curriculum, and signals the determination of both nations to raise a generation of truly conscious Africans.
The rest of Africa would do well to follow this example. No African child should grow up believing that they are inferior to anyone. They should grow up knowing about their glorious history and the battles fought and won for them by those who came before. They should grow up knowing about the West’s invasion of their continent, the reign of t*rror that followed, the liberation struggles waged to end this reign.
Every African child should grow up knowing about the enslaved Africans in the then French colony of Saint-Domingue who rebelled against their oppressors in 1791, and were never defeated until they founded the modern world’s first free black republic in 1804.

Why Africa Has "Electocracy," Not Democracy
@wmnjoya, associate professor in the Language and Performing Arts Department at Kenya's Daystar University, argues that Africans have no democracy, but a restirctive, Western-imposed system that handpicks African leaders based on who is best for Western interests regardless of any actual election outcomes.
According to her, this situation where box-checking exercises that suit the description of "elections" are held without any actual organic choice from the people, is not a democracy, but an "electocracy".
Why do Africans continue to vote in such a restrictive system? Drop us a comment.

Mormons: One Of Christianity’s Most R*cist Groups
What do you really know about the Mormon Church? What did the founders of this church really believe about the world? And do the friendly smiles and demeanors of its missionaries across the globe today symbolize sincere intentions, or hide a dark truth?
In this report for The Spearhead, @okorieuche_ sheds light on the history of one of Christianity’s most r*cist denominations.

Now that we decided to implement British anti-intellectualism in CBC, especially the fantasy that we can have skills without knowledge, I've had to look up what the philosophers (yes, those people who are irrelevant to the market) say about knowledge and skills.
So, knowledge, traditionally, means conviction, belief about facts and ideas. But skill is the knowing where, how, when to use that knowledge. So we can know water is denser than oil. Knowing how to put off an oil fire requires applying the knowledge that the properties of water will interact with the oil, not the fire. That means that skill is more intuitive, based on multiple forms of accumulated knowledge, than formally taught.
But Kenyans agreed with KICD that they don't want to teach children about the properties of oil and water because that is theory, and theory means cramming for exams.
I kept saying that it makes no sense to expect children to have a skill that applies knowledge that we haven't taught the children, but Kenyans accused me of wanting exams, because knowledge=exams. Skill is difficult to grade, that's why we have to assess using "meeting expectations." We have to assess every year, but yah, exam obsession has ended.
It's amazing.
So we got children swimming in the dust. The "practical" aspect of swimming is the strokes. Not the context of being in the water and moving in it. Therefore, children, oops, learners, will demonstrate swimming strokes practically in the dust. That's competence in swimming. Yay, #CBCisheretostay.

Is The U.S. Staging Another Invasion Of Haiti?
On October 19, 2026, at the 10,246th Meeting of the UN Security Council (UNSC), US Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz threatened Haiti with yet another US military “intervention”.
He did not say this directly, of course.
In the tired old style of US government parrots, he used Haiti’s 5-year-long, Western-imposed security crisis as the pretext for this “intervention”.
Think about it.
The Nutritional Society of Nigeria is an NGO. Even I, thought they were a Government agency.
And they want to be the only professional organization on the board of the proposed Nutritionist Registration Council?
That will arrest and fine a BSc holder in Nutrition, 100k, who is not in their fold, or practices nutrition that they don't approve.. an NGO?!
And a very simple Google search will tell you their financial pillar is Bill Gates.
When @DavidHundeyin says NGOs are running Nigeria, I hope you understand now.

And they pay some African women to push that agenda. It's effective because many Africans find it difficult to tie women to this sinister agenda because women are usually the most fiercely faithful to our welfare. This is a very strange phenomenon to for the African mind to grasp. And the west knows it.

I'm happy Lula won. I'm amazed at the determination of his campaign and the support of the people.
But we will have to ask serious questions about the amount of energy imperialism has forced the global south to spend on this one day every many years. It will take time to decompress after an intense 2 weeks, and then build the momentum to actually build the country before another intense campaign season starts. This isn't fair. If this is "democracy," we need a better, less expensive and less intense version.
And yes, Al Jazeera. I see what you're doing. Trivializing the real political issues and reducing what was at stake to social media, whatsapp groups and dance videos.

One trick that this bastard called @BillGates uses is to operate through local proxies that have names specifically intended to mislead people.
So you will see "Nutrition Society of Nigeria" and think that this entity has some kind of governmental recognition - meanwhile it has no such thing.
It's literally just a random NGO funded by Bill Gates which is attempting to write itself into law and execute one of the biggest power grabs ever attempted in African public policy history!

African Proverb Of The Week
This proverb comes from the Saharawi people of Western Sahara, Africa’s 55th nation, and the only African nation still fighting for its independence.
What does it tell us?
It tells us that there is no progress without risk and sacrifice, and throughout Africa’s modern history, its great leaders knew this. From Nkrumah to Olympio to Lumumba to Sankara, these visionary leaders all risked something to see Africa free. Though their vision was cut short by Western t*rrorists in their lifetimes, it never died. It endured in the foundations they laid for those who would come after.
It is alive today in nations like Eritrea, Tanzania, Mali, N*ger and Burkina Faso, whose leaders and people have dared to stick their necks out, in the face of endless Western aggression, so that Africa can move forward.

Ghanaian Reporter Parrots Western Propaganda About His Own Country, The Spearhead Reacts
This April, Ghana rejected a ridiculous “health deal” offered to it by the US under the so-called “America First Global Health Strategy”. This deal would have seen Ghana hand its sensitive health data, medical records, and national pathogen profiles on a plate to Africa’s single greatest geopolitical enemy. So the Ghanaian government did what any sensible African government would have done.
In this report for The Spearhead, @barrahart reacts to a @dwnews report on Ghana’s decision, hosted by a Ghanaian “journalist” who clearly doesn’t know where his African interests lie.

The Spearhead Reacts To A British Journalist on The Topic Of Foreign Aid To Nigeria
On 16 October 2026, British reporter and TV pundit Lowri Jones appeared on the UK's Channel 5 show Jeremy Vine where she delivered comments to the effect that the UK's £136 million annual aid disbursement to Nigeria is largely lost to "corruption" and that Nigeria in any case is too wealthy to need foreign aid.
In the characteristically insincere and malicious manner of British TV punditry, these comments were not intended as a sincere analysis of a purportedly broken UK foreign aid system or a neutral observation about Nigeria, but as a backhanded dig at an African country that is regularly deployed as a public scapegoat in British political spaces.
At The Spearhead, we wholeheartedly agree with Jones's postulation that the UK should permanently cease all foreign aid disbursement to Nigeria, although not for the puerile, infantile, surface-level reasons that she volunteered. @Big_Mck explains further.

Sovereignty On Mortgage: Nigerian Expert Raises Alarm Over Bill Gates Funding Of Nutrition Bill
Nigeria's nutrition space is currently the subject of an attempted hostile takeover sponsored by US billionaire Bill Gates.
Speaking on News Central TV on Friday 23 October, 2026, Dr Segun Adebayo, Executive Director, Centre for
African Policy Research and Advisory (CAfPRA) raised the alarm surrounding a contentious new bill backed by Gates, which has been smuggled through 2 readings at Nigeria's House of Representatives, with the final reading planned for Monday 26 October.
Whereas legislative bills in Nigeria typically spend weeks or months going through their first, second and third readings before being submitted for presidential assent, this bill, which has the full backing of Gates' extensive institutional influence in Nigeria, was reportedly rushed through its first and second within a few hours of each other, with a planned timeline for passage before the end of October 2026.
