🎬 DID YOU KNOW? AMC Theatres was founded in 1920 when brothers Maurice, Edward, and Barney Dubinsky purchased the Regent Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri. What began as a single movie theater would eventually become the largest movie theater chain in the world. In 1963, AMC helped revolutionize moviegoing by opening one of the first modern multiplexes, forever changing the theatrical exhibition industry. Over a century of cinema history! 🍿

I am not going away @vladtenev @DanGallagher AMC Entertainment does not consent to Robinhood creating Stock Tokens to replicate AMC shares in the United States (the SEC requires you to get our consent, or failing that, at least with us to stand down). They are fake, synthetic shares, which could impact our capital structure. AMC should control our financial destiny, not Robinhood.

GameStop CEO @ryancohen wants to win. I sat down with him and he explained how AI is changing work and hiring, his concerns about where humans fit in an automated future, and the rise of the retail investor. We also discuss Neuralink, how he talks to shareholders, his biggest failure, and the legacy he wants to leave. $GME YouTube: youtube.com/watch?v=dDTSElQ0… Spotify: open.spotify.com/episode/74i… Apple: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas… TIMESTAMPS: 0:00 - Intro 0:30 - AI risks & how GameStop uses AI 3:04 - How Ryan spends his time 6:05 - Hiring in the age of AI 7:45 - Why Ryan wants to learn Chinese 8:55 - Robots, UBI & human utility 13:53 - Neuralink & brain-computer interfaces 17:50 - Retail investors vs Wall Street 21:10 - Greatest strengths & weaknesses 23:05 - Shareholder communication & ignoring the noise 28:04 - Biggest failure 29:45 - Legacy & final thoughts

… Vlad @vladtenev when $HOOD token? If on chain is Such a great thing one would think you would pilot the company’s stock. Shouldn’t the “world” as you call it, have access to “invest” in RobinHood. So what’s good for others isn’t good for $HOOD 😂- do the math people!

At first glance, this kinda seems crazy to me. I need to better understand it, but it really seems like the SEC is trying to push trading outside of regulated entities entirely. From a market manipulation perspective this seems like an enforcement nightmare.
🚨 TODAY: The SEC issued an order granting temporary, conditional exemptive relief to Tokenized Securities Venues from the definition of “exchange” in the Exchange Act to trade tokenized NMS stock using innovative permissioned automated market makers and liquidity pools.

In my crosshairs as much as Robinhood’s shameful Stock Tokens and the trademark- infringing meme coins that they trade: dreaded TICKET SCALPERS. So far, we have reclaimed more than 1,600 AMC tickets from resale sites posted there. Scalpers beware, AMC is coming after you.

According to the SEC New Rules in January 2026 $AMC 1. Whether Token or Paper it’s a Security if the underlying asset is 2. It’s either ISSUER SPONSORED ($AMC Sponsored) OR THIRD PARTY SPONSORED Tokenized securities 3. The Third Party Sponsored tokens only has 2 catagories , CUSTODIAL backed by Real Shares of $AMC Stock OR SYNTHETIC backed by Debt claim or swap no actual $AMC backed behind it 4. In OUR Situation these are SYNTHETIC 3rd Party tokens backed by cash NOT $AMC stock 5. These are DEBT SECURITIES that must be registered with the SEC and the disclosure must say TOKENIZED EXPOSURE and must never say Tokenized Stock of $AMC which IMPLIES $AMC ownership which is misleading So to make it simple 1. Token / Paper - Still a security 2. Issuer sponsored token vs 3rd party token 3. Custodial or Synthetic 4. Debt security with proper disclosures
Hey there @dangallagher, in the past week you and @vladtenev CEO of Robinhood have made public comments defending your use of and “standing behind” your relatively new Stock Token concept. I think this practice is abhorrent. It defeats the very ethos of share ownership. Public financial markets were created so that companies could raise capital, and so that investors could share in the wealth created as a result. Not to turn investing instead merely into some gamified business-oriented casino. If by your own admission you can’t offer or sell Stock Tokens to “U.S. persons” why does your U.S. web site talk about them so much and so favorably? Vlad: How can a U.S. brokerage firm be proud of creating an offshore Channel Island operation in far off Jersey specifically with the intent to operate outside U.S. securities laws? Is there potential confusion that Stock Token purchasers are getting less than all the rights accorded to real shareholders, and if so do you care? If those tokens are theoretically backed 1:1 by real shares, but hypothetically some of those underlying real shares are in turn lent out to short sellers, are the Tokens really backed 1:1 in fact? Dan: I think U.S. securities laws have protected the public very well over the past century. You spent much of your career at the SEC. Deep down, in your heart of hearts, how can you really think a world without the precautions imposed by U.S. securities laws creates a better, safer environment for investors? Choose whatever descriptors you think best make sense under the circumstances: Non-regulated, derivative, synthetic, sham, debt-backed securities trying to simulate actual real stock, or pick your own words if these don’t fit. Stock Tokens may make you an innovator in your own eyes. In my eyes, they bring your firm dishonor.

WTH @SECGov?!?! Backed 1:1?!?! How many trillions of ghost shares of $AMC exist at this point?!?! Good lord, no wonder no one wants to look into how blately criminal the replicating of synthetic fake shares have become. I could imagine total tracking in one bucket and whoever shared that information with the @SECGov, would most likely ask you to first sit down and put a padded helmet on first. 🥴🥴🥴 @CEOAdam
Replying to @CEOAdam
@CEOAdam Vlad just stated tokens are backed 1:1 with shares. Sounds like an audit is now necessary, as we have heard that before, from FTX $AMC #ApesNotLeaving
