Oh, I forgot to mention that I was now doing aerobatics (cause flying planes wasn’t enough obviously, I had to stunt them) Pictured below: the avalanche (or when you combine a loop and a snap roll)

there was a guy in a documentary about getting addicted to world of warcraft that said, "at first, you just play when you have free time. but then you discover, you have a lot more free time than you thought." i routinely return to this as a source of motivation. i have the time

Crowdsourcing feedback: @orca_build vs @herdrdev + moshi for mobile handling of agents on a Mac over Tailscale?

I want to love Cloudflare but every time they find a reason to make me hate them. Latest occurrence: disabled R2 completely, no email, no explanation. Subscription simply disappeared. Thankfully restarting it restored the bucket but what a wonky experience. 🚮

Just shipped turbinekit.dev: a spiritual successor to next-forge by @haydenbleasel, built lean and made for coding agents. Sure, your agent could scaffold all of this itself. But why burn the tokens when it can start with the house rules and skills already in place? 🧵

Don't take my word for it: every file your agent reads has its own page. Read the real AGENTS.md, SETUP.md, LAUNCH.md and the skills before you install anything: turbinekit.dev/agents

It's MIT. No account, no lock-in: it's your code from the first commit. If it's useful: ⭐ Star it on GitHub: github.com/TurbineKit/turbin… 🔁 Repost it for someone starting a project 🛠️ Issues and PRs are welcome

It’s kinda crazy to me that we melt sand down, clean it to 99.99999% purity, literal wizards have to draw it slowly into an ingot, we cut it, inscribe a hundred billion little on/off switches on it, and when you run electric current through it you can do basic arithmetic, which when you do enough of it can do any math on the planet, and which describes reality well enough that we can teach it the ontological meaning of words and their distance from each other on a high-dimensional space, and if you ask, it can tell you what word comes next and that apparently is powerful enough that if you do it a hundred billion times it’s the smartest thing to ever exist oh yeah and we use this primarily for email

This has been obviously destined since Dario saw GPT-3 autocompleting a for-loop in python and was struck by a vision of our future. My guess is that this has barely started, and that Super Worms are coming. There's never been a better time to build an intranet for your people.
welp. the Internet was nice while it lasted.

Do I know anyone (or anyone that knows anyone) that could help unlock an #AppleDeveloperProgram application stuck in limbo? (got approved 2 years ago, didn't complete purchase, submitted a new one, not hearing anything, no replies to emails, and no phone support anymore)

France built 42 nuclear power plants in the 1980s. 42!! What an insanely inspiring country this used to be.
France used to be Badass in the 70s.

I’ve been building a macOS app for negative film conversion and this comment from a photographer friend who’s been shooting film for 20 years has been such a exciting validation
